“To get married or should we find you a wife? It’s time to get married.”
My mother said while my brothee nodded at her words.

“Its time to get married, brother. You don’t have to go club again. Especially, looking for that girl.” My brother smirked and I glared at him.

I haven’t told him about her being pregnant for me.

“Brother, I need a sister in law to talk with.” He added, blinking like a doll.

“Jayden, just shut up okay?”

“Yes, mom. I will shut up”

“Darling Tan, are you ready to get married? Have you found yourself a girl? Is there anyone you’re in love with?” My mom asked. “Oh! Or maybe you have a baby mama outside. We could make arrangement to become your wife.” She concluded.

I just couldn’t say any other thing than to stare at them.
“Mom, is this what you came here for? And you, Jayden?” I started. “You see mom, you two shouldn’t waste your time, cause I’m not ready to get any marriage done yet. I’m not ready to get married.”

“Then when do you want to get married for goodness sake. Jayden here has a girlfriend but you, no. You didn’t have any other girl after that fool broke your heart.” Mom yelled but I’m not moved cause I was used to it.

“Mom, calm down okay? Chill. Fine! You wanna know something?” I questioned.

“Yes, but let it be reasonable.” She replied curtly.
My brother giggled but I walked closer to him and gave him a knock on his head.

“Ouch!” He winced.

“Don’t laugh at me and mind your business.” I cautioned.

“So mom, I just wanted to say……” I paused.
Should I just tell the truth? That someone is pregnant for me?

“Can you just say it? Cause I’m dying of patience here.”

“Okay, okay, the lady you saw at the cafe the other day? Do you remember? That I said she’s one of those sluts.” I began. My mom nodded and asked me to continue.

“She’s pregnant for me. I mean she’s carrying my child and I’m not ready to be a father.” I finally said.

“Even from your mouth? You’re not ready to be a father?” Her jaw dropped.
