Captain Adjei: After several minutes of blowing my car horn, my wife finally came to open the main gate and I drove in. She looked so surprise to see me because I guess she wasn’t expecting me home at that moment. She tried to engage me in a conversation but I wasn’t having time to listen to anything she was saying to me. When I entered the hall I saw wine glasses on the center table and immediately I knew something was definitely not right. I quickly climbed the staircase to the bedroom to see if I could catch my silly brother in my bedroom but to my greatest surprise my bedroom was empty. I searched under my bed, wardrobe and washroom to catch the infidel who had the audacity to share my wife with me on my matrimonial bed but there was no sign of my brother. I left my bedroom to check the other rooms but they were all empty. I came downstairs with my revolver in my hand to ask my wife where my junior brother was but she told me, my brother left the house to his station early in the morning and he even told her he will pass by my office to alert me before he departs the city. She then asked me why I was looking all worked up and why I was carrying a gun in my hand looking all deadly and volatile. I didn’t utter a word and I walked pass her to the compound, I sat in my car and drove out of the house. She came to lock the main gate as I drove out and after driving pass three houses, I realised my actions were uncalled for so I decided to go and apologise to my wife and also get my diary that I forgot to pick from the drawer in my study. I drove back to my gate and as I got to the main gate, I decided not to blow the horn of my car for her to come and open the gate for me again so I decided to jump the wall into the house. I dropped my revolver into the letter box of my car before stepping down of the car and I jumped the wall and walked to the hall but my wife was not at the hall, I could hear voices upstairs, a male and female voice. I knew someone was in the house with my wife but getting close and listening to the male voice well, I could tell that was not my brother’s voice. I opened the door leading to my bedroom and there on my matrimonial bed was my wife and the alleged mechanic lying on my bed with my wife riding the idiot like a mad stallion horse. Honestly I would have collapsed or maybe developed a cardiac arrest or even develop instant stroke if I didn’t stand my ground that day. I screamed the name of my wife out for her to know I had seen her and her lover defying our matrimonial bed and home, I shut the door behind me and went downstairs with a very heavy heart. My brother in my life of existence, if any man of God, mallam or soothsayer could prophesy that my wife would do that to me, I swear with my life that I will label that prophet or mallam an agent of doom.

Kofi Ansah: Captain so what did you do after you saw your fellow man sleeping with your wife on your matrimonial bed?

Captain Adjei: Luckily for me, I wasn’t carry my revolver on me if not I would have killed both of them instantly and buried them at the backyard of my house without anyone knowing what I had done. I remembered I had some documents in my wardrobe that I need to go through it as it could assist me in my investigation at work and how I could approach the CDS after getting the diary also from my study. I went back to the bedroom and I don’t know if that guy thought I came back to the room to harm them. The guy pounced on me the moment I entered the bedroom and because I was caught off guide, I fell down and the guy was on top of me throwing punches at me. Kofi can you imagine? You are stealing from my backyard and I catch you redhanded and you have the audacity to attack me instead of running. With my combat experience, I did very well to block most of the punches he threw at me with my elbow. Kofi honestly the guy was a tough guy who was will built in stature and I am very sure he was into gyming also. He threw one punch that hit my eye and I started to seeing stars, that moment was when I realised if I don’t put in much efforts in my defence and attack skills, that guy would do to me a great harm. Because I was blocking most of his punches the guy then decided to attack my ribs so that I could open up on my face so he could rearrange or redesign my face for me. He landed me with a heavy blow on my left rib and immediately I also threw a blow from the ground which landed right under his jaw. My blow made him lose balance so I managed to push him away from me. I got up to my feet swiftly and he also did same, now I was looking at him with an undivided attention waiting for him to attack so I use his strength against him. He finally did as I expected him to do and I got the open chance I needed to let him know I am a well trained and experienced military man, I blocked his punches that he threw at me and in just a flash of seconds, I had thrown three different punches into his face and his nose got broken as a result. Blood started dripping from his nose and I presume as he also saw his blood, it dawned on him that he was in for a big deal and that got him so furious and mad. He screamed as he wiped the blood with the back of his hand and pointed at me uttering this words. “You there broke my nose? I will ki*ll you, bury you in this house and nobody will get to know you are even dead you fool”.

Kofi Ansah: Sorry to cut in Captain but a quick question, all this while that you were exchanging fearsome blows or punches with this intruder or your wife’s cheating partner, where was your wife and what was she also doing?

Captain Adjei: Hmmmmm that infidel was standing on the bed screaming for both of us to stop fighting, the guy threw a blow at me and I fell on the bed, he hurriedly rushed to where his jeans trouser was lying and brought out a pocketknife and pulled the blade out pointing it at me. My brother I was helpless, he tried to cut me with it and I blocked it with my left hand. The blade cut me on the left hand and I also started to bleed, that is the scar the blade left on my hand when he cut me. At this juncture I knew my life was in danger and it was now a do or die affair because I could see evil in the eyes of the guy. I from the start thought he was going to be scared having an affair with a wedded wife of a decorated army officer who had caught them in an unforgivable and illicit act but the guy was hell bent on ending my life and coveting my wife. To my greatest surprise he licked my blood on the blade of the pocketknife and that was when I decided to go all out because that guy was in for a ki*ll. He pounced on me and I lost balance again and fell on the bed, he held my face and pressed it on the mattress as he tried to plant the pocketknife in my chest. My brother the guy was not leaving any stone unturned as he wanted to book an early ticket for me in the land of the ancestors, unfortunately for him one of his fingers saw its way into my mouth and since the goat only bites when you push it to the wall, I bit it with all my strength and he started screaming for mercy. I took the advantage and snacted the pocketknife from his hand and instead of him to run from the bedroom as I was not read and willing to attack him, he pounced on me again and that was when the unfortunate or unexpected happened.

Kofi Ansah: The unfortunate or unexpected happened? Guys stay tuned because I will be right back after this commercial break from our sponsors. Don’t you move or dare touch that dial because the story of Captain Kwame Adjei is about to take a different dimension. I will be right back!!!
