“Don’t be nervous Skai. It’s just a meeting with the investor” Sandy says and I sigh looking at her

“What if he decides he doesn’t wanna invest any more cause he doesn’t like my presentation”i said and ran her hand frustratedly

“He wouldn’t have offered to invest such money if he thought your business is not good enough” She says and and I sigh heavily

Oh my god I’m so nervous. It’s been two days since that incident with that hot dude and today I’m supposed to be meeting with the so called Tyler Ziegler

I went to the boardroom with Sandy by my side.She is really a good P.A

I stopped on my tracks as soon as I saw the person i least expected seated with other three men in suits

“Sandy what the f**k is he doing here ?” I whispered to Sandy pointing at him

He had this evil smirk and I felt like I could slap him. Argh why did we have to meet again

“That’s Tyler Ziegler” She said and I felt like my ears went functioning right

“What ?” I said more loudly and they all diverted their attention to us

“Uhm sorry about that” I said faking a smile while looking at Tyler who still had this evil smirk

“Let’s get to the presentation shall we cause I don’t have time to waste Mrs Clawson” he said rudely

Argh I hate this guy. I wish I could ki*ll him but I need the money for my new clothing building

After the presentation they all clapped except for Tyler

“I’m not impressed so I’m not interested in investing anymore” he said rudely while standing up

“But sir the presentation was so good” one of the men he came with said and he shot him a glare causing him to shut up immediately

Why is he so full of himself ? Is he doing this to make me beg him ?

“Uhm sir please rethink this through” I hated what I said cause he cracked

“No Mrs Clawson I’ve made up my mind” he said and I sighed looking at him with hate

“Please” I said “Fine since you begged like a street kid needing food I’ll do it” he says and i smile as he walked out

“I’m getting my revenge” I said to myself as soon as he got out

“What do you mean ?” Sandy asked and I shrugged

“It’s nothing just go back to work” I said and she left quickly

“Daddy” Kim called as I drove her back from school

“Yes baby?” I said taking a glance at her to find her staring at me but I quickly diverted my attention to the road

“When are you getting me a new mommy?” She asked and I nearly lost control of the steering wheel

“Baby where does that come from ?” I asked and I heard her sigh

“Daddy you said mom left for business since I was a baby and now I’m 8. When is she coming back it’s obvious she doesn’t care about me” she yelled in her little angelic voice

“Baby she cares about you, where are you getting all this from ?” I asked packing my car in the mansion to find her tearing up

I hugged her immediately because my heart was shattering into peices. I felt like it was all my fault

“I watch all the children from school being picked by their mom from school and I saw that I need a mommy too why can’t you find a new one cause I hate my real mommy”she says and I sigh

Maddie really broke her heart. Why can’t she just come back and become a mother to her. Why did she run away leaving me broken

“But daddy is always here you don’t need a mommy” I said kissing her forehead but she pushed me away

“You don’t understand. It doesn’t feel okay. I need a mommy!”she shouted, opened the door and ran inside

“Kim”i called but she ignored me

The tears I’ve been holding finally fell from my eyes.i knew a day like this would come but I didn’t expect it to be so soon. Why did she leave. I hit the steering wheel angrily
