JACE

….. AFTER TWO DAYS…

I began to pack my stuffs for this trip, and it’s quite surprising i haven’t heard from Lydia.

My fear was, she would be planning some evil strategy, because that is what she does best. Causing havoc.

The door of my room opened, and Elena walked in smiling.

“Aren’t you done with packing?” She asked hugging me from behind.

“I am almost done.” I said smiling. I looked at her, tilting my head to the side and placing a kiss on her lips.

“I am done, and I can’t stop wondering what is taking too long. You are a guy Jace.” She said and we Chuckled.

“Was doing some thinking.” I said finally facing her, wrapping my arms around her waist.

“What were you thinking about?” She asked looking into my eyes.

“How I don’t want to ever let you go. Elena know this, i love you no matter what.” I said and she smiled.

“You should like you aren’t telling me something.” She said and I sighed.

“It’s not a talk for now baby. But trust me, I will tell you when the time comes.” I said and she nodded.

“And I love you too.” She said hugging me tightly.

Suddenly, there came a knock on the door and Elena was forced to disengage.

“I would get that.” She said and I shook my head.

“No I would get it.” I said and she laughed.

“You are the one who isn’t done packing up. So stay back, pack up before we lose our flight.” She said and I heaved nodding.

She walked out of the room, and as I kept packing in haste, I kept my ears down the stairs to know who was at the door.

And then the person spoke up. My greatest fear!!! It was Lydia.

“Look who we have here.” I heard her say as I rushed out of the room.

“What do you want?” I heard Elena ask angrily.

“I am here to see Jace. We need to talk business.” She said and then I got to the living room.

“Elena. Can you help me with the remaining stuff while I talked to Lydia?” I asked her and she nodded.

She gave Lydia thie stare before walking away.

“Why are you Chasing her away?? Because you are scared she would find out the truth and hate you??” She asked loudly and Elena stopped immediately.

My eyes widened, knowing exactly where she was heading.

“What the hell are you talking about??” She asked walking back to where we stood.

“Why not ask your lovely Boyfriend. Cos one thing I remember is that a relationship should be built on the truth.” She said and began to walk out of the house.

“Elena.” I called and all she did was stare at me.

“What was she ranting about?” She asked and my heart skipped.

“You shouldn’t mind Lydia. You know she always tries to look for trouble.” I said and she shook her head.

“This is no trouble Jace. You and I know that, so tell me what she talked about or I ask her myself.” She said looking determined and I sighed.

“Love can you at least let us get on the plane first?? I will explain later.” I said and she shook her head.

“The earlier you tell me, the earlier we can get on the plane. Cos I am going nowhere until you tell me what Lydia meant by truth.” She said looking so determined to know.

“Okay fine. I will tell you, but promise me you won’t get mad at me.” I said and she nodded speechlessly.

“Speak up Jace.” She said and I bowed my head.

“I am the founder of the music institute.” I said and I saw her eyes widen.

“What?? How is that even possible?? You are a judge.” She said.

“I made you and the others believe that. But that’s the truth. I am the founder of the institute.” I said.

“So all this time… You had the power to admit me and you didn’t?? You kept telling me lies that I would need to get my voice In shape and the rest??” She asked looking a little pissed.

“I didn’t do it on purpose Elena, believe me I didn’t want to lie to you.” I said fearfully.

“But you did! You made me follow everything you said like a fool!” She yelled.

“It’s because I love you Elena!!! I wanted you by my side! I wanted you to love me too! I knew you wanted to get into the institute because of Stefan, I had to show you he isn’t worth it!” I stated.

“What else did you lie about??” She asked in a shaky voice.

“Elena please let’s not do this.” I pleaded.

“Oh yes we are doing this!” She mumbled.

“The whole pretend to be my fiancee for 15 days for my step mother wasn’t real either. I wanted to let go of the plan of having you close to me but then you called back saying we were in.”

“I was happy, and I knew saying the truth would spoil how everything was going. Since the first day we met I fell in love with you.” I explained and she nodded in tears.

“So when I was insulted by Lydia the day at that Audition, you had all rights to shun her and admit me??” She asked and I nodded fearfully.

“I am done here!” She said walking away.

“Please Elena. Don’t go.” I pleaded in a shaky Voice.

“Jace if you had saved me the embarrassment that day, and said sweet things to me. You wouldn’t need to decieve me before I love you. I would have forgotten all about Stefan knowing someone was still out there we stood up for me.” She stated In tears and I bowed my head.

“That was selfish Jace. You know I thought I could use that opportunity to gain Stefan back. Since we were both using each other.”

“If you told me, I wouldn’t have done all those crappy things.” She added walking away.

“Elena I am sorry.” I stated.

“I know Jace. But I need to think this through.” She said walking to her room.
