☀️ SUNDAY☀️

❣️ALEXA❣️

I tossed and turned on my bed.
I’m just so bored and there’s nothing I can do.
I got tired of my phone so I’ve dumped it somewhere.

I really feel like talking with anyone but there’s no one to talk with here.
If Oliver hadn’t gone yesterday, I’d have gone to the study to chat with him.
Hunter is out of the question as I don’t feel comfortable with him anymore since he mistook me for his ex lover.

I wish I have friends I could call and we would talk for hours, but I lost my few friends after my parent’s death.

I tried to sleep all to no avail.
I finally gave up, so I went downstairs to make a cup of tea for myself.

I made the tea and I grabbed some cookies from the kitchen as well.
I placed everything on a tray and I went to the sitting room.

I sat down on a couch and I placed the tray on my legs.
I began to eat and I was almost through with the food when I heard the doorbell ring.
I abandoned my food and I went to check who was knocking on the door.
I was surprised to see that it’s the principal.
I opened the door wider and he stepped in.
He must be living close by because he didn’t come in his car.

“Good morning, sir” I said to him.

“It’s afternoon, Ms. Smith” he said.
He should drop the formality since we are not in school right now.
I checked the sitting room’s wall clock and I was shocked to see that we are really in the afternoon.
It was 10 minutes past noon.
I must have been lazing around for hours.

“Kate said Hunter thinks you are Dana” the principal said quite sadly.

“Yes” I replied trying to sound as carefree as possible.

“Do you know that Dana was my friend’s daughter?” he asked me.
How am I supposed to know?

“I have no idea” I said.

“True, true” he said shaking his head sideways.

“Bob! What a pleasant surprise!” Aunt Kate exclaimed from the door of the staircase which led to the sitting room.

“Hi, Kate. How is Evan?” the principal asked.

“He is taking a nap” aunt Kate said.

“Okay. I’m here to see Hunter” he said to aunt Kate.
I didn’t stick around to listen to the rest of their conversation.

I carried the tray containing the cup of tea and cookies back to the kitchen.
I poured the left over tea into the kitchen sink and I washed the cup.

💓 HUNTER💓

I was about to drift off into slumber land when I heard a knock on my door.

“Come in” I shouted for the person on the other side of the door.
I can’t walk around yet.
I’m still very weak to do that.
The door knob turned and I was surprised to see the principal and mom come in.
I don’t know the principal would come to check on me at home.

“Good afternoon, Mr Sawyer” he said and I sat up straight in bed.

“Good afternoon, sir” I replied.

“It’s good to see you are getting better” he said.
I mumbled something incoherently.
We talked about sports, the country and any other subject but not school.
“Are you aware that Oliver and I were tortured by Ms. Kilpatrick?” I asked out of the blue.
He looked up sharply and he took a deep breath.

“Unfortunately, yes” he said sadly.

“By the way, Laura and Alexa are not willing to drop all charges against Matilda” he added.

Laura is Oliver’s mom, but I don’t know who Alexa is and how she’s connected to all these.

“Who is Alexa?” I asked him.
I instantly remember that everyone refer to Dana as Alexa.

“Never mind, I think I know her. How is she connected with our torture?” I asked.

“I’m not in the position to answer that question. You could ask her directly” he said.
I know I could ask her, but I think she’s avoiding me because I haven’t set my eyes on her since Friday.

The principal left after some minutes and I was left with mom.

“Mom, how is Dana related to what happened to Oliver and I” I asked curiously.

“It was because of her that you and Oliver were tortured” mom said.

I wish to ask her more questions but I’m feeling sleepy already.

❤️OLIVER❤️

I detest long sleeved clothes, but I have no choice than to wear this yellow sweatshirt on a matching pair of joggers.

I have to keep dad clueless about what actually happened to me, so I can’t put on short sleeved clothes for now as it would display my bruised body for all to see.

The sweatshirt is also to to conceal the fact that I’ve lost weight.
I don’t want my dad to start fretting over me.
I couldn’t talk with him yesterday because he was asleep when I went to his room, so I concluded that I’d see him today before I do anything else.

I checked my appearance in the mirror and I saw that I was good to go.
I head to my dad’s room and I pressed a light knock on the door of his room.
The door was opened by mom.

I stepped into the room and I walked over to dad’s bed.
He’s looking more frail than I remember.
I didn’t notice this yesterday because he was under the bed covers when I came to see him.

“Good morning, dad” I said, trying to hug him in his lying form.

“Morning, champ. Hope you are feeling better?” dad asked.

“Yes, dad” I replied.

I talked with dad for almost thirty minutes before he drowse off.
That’s the effect of all the medication he is being given.

I left his room and went back to mine.
I laid back on my bed and surfed the net.

I checked all my social media accounts, blogs and finally I checked livescores.
I watched the highlights of some matches that I had missed for the past weeks.
I finished watching the highlights and I logged out minutes later.

I took a nap and it was the chime of the doorbell that woke me up.
I left my room and I went to open the door.
I was surprised to see principal Morris.

“Good morning, sir” I said politely.

“Good morning, captain” he said.
He is fond of calling me captain instead of my last name as he addresses other students.

“Mom, principal Morris is here” I shouted so mom can come out.
She came out few minutes later and I wanted to excuse myself but he asked me to stay.

“I know what Matilda did was wrong, but I would love it if you could forgive her” principal Morris said.
Mom and I exchanged a look but I didn’t talk.

“Whatever decision you make is okay by me. I support you strongly” mom said softly.

“Even if I decide to forgive her, will it make me forget all I went through in her hand?
Will it make any difference to me, now that my best friend has lost some vital memories, which wouldn’t have happened if she hadn’t started everything she did.
If I forgive her, will that change anything.
Do you have any idea how much damage she caused?” I asked bitterly.

I hate feeling so emotional but I can’t just help it.
My body is covered with bruises because of that woman.
Hunter lost part of his memory because of that woman, and I don’t even know when he is going to recover it back.
I might not be able to create a relationship with Alexa anymore thanks to that woman as Hunter now think she is Dana.
All these and many more wouldn’t have happened if not for her.

I might consider forgiving her if everything can just be normal like it was before this whole thing started.

❣️ ALEXA❣️

We just finished having lunch and aunt Kate reminded uncle Evan about his promise to visit Peter today.

“Thanks dear, I almost forgot” he replied.

I quickly wash the used utensils and I went to meet uncle Evan.
We both left for Oliver’s house.

We met Laura in front of the house.
She was carrying some shopping bags and was about to enter the house.
I helped her with two of the bags and she turned to greet uncle Evan.

“Hi, Evan” she greeted.
Uncle Evan replied her and we all entered the house.
I helped her to place the bags on the kitchen’s counter.
By then, uncle Evan had gone to see Peter in his room.
I also went to Peter’s room and the two men were engrossed in their conversation.
I didn’t want to interrupt them so I left for the kitchen to help Laura with what she is doing.

“I’m making pancakes, can you help me mix the batter?” Laura asked.

“Yes. I’d be glad to” I replied.

I quickly set to work and in no time the pancakes were ready.
Laura gave me some pancakes with syrup to take it to Oliver.
I knocked on his door and he came to open the door for me.
He had a shocked expression on his face.
I guess he wasn’t expecting to see me.

“Hey, come in” he said and I entered his room.
I gave him the pancakes and I sat on his chair while he sat on the bed.

“Principal Morris was here today” Oliver said after some minutes of silence.
I didn’t know the principal’s last name until now.
I only know aunt Kate and uncle Evan refer to him as Bob.

“He came to check on Hunter as well” I said to him.

“Do you think you can forgive Ms. Kilpatrick?” Oliver asked me warily.
I wonder what sort of question this is.

“That’s totally impossible. Do you know all I had to go through because of her?” I said sadly.
I was used to living a normal life with my parents before she destroyed our family.

“I know how you feel. I also can’t forgive her even though what she did to me is quite insignificant compared to what she did to you” Oliver said.

“I’m looking forward to seeing her in court” I replied.

“When is the court hearing? ” he asked.

“It is scheduled for next month, and I wish Hunter would have regained his memory by then” I said.

“Same here. I don’t know why he can’t remember anything about you” Oliver said.

“Alexa, I’m going home already” uncle Evan said from the doorway.

“Goodbye, I’d see you around” I waved at Oliver as I hurried to meet uncle Evan who was waiting for me.

TBC.
I’m so sorry I have to stop here.
Nothing was flowing but I had to force myself to write something.
I hope I overcome this writer’s block so that the next episode would be interesting.

Peace out✌️💞💞✌️
