Episode 8

Christabel’s pov

“This school isn’t just a school where you learn, it’s also a body guard school” The boy explained.

“Bodyguard?” I repeated.

“Yeah, but…..it depends. If you wanna be a body guard, you can. Most became lawyers, doctors and all that.” He stated.

“Those who became bodyguards, where do they work?”

“Ah! You don’t know where they work? Some works in the palace just like that guy over there. He’s an old student of this school. His salary can buy my younger brother.”

I chuckled. He’s funny.

I nodded and faced the king that has been talking.

“……….your teachers will teach you all you need to learn.” He concluded amd left with the prince behind him.

I mean, he went to sit down.

The teachers lined us up in a straight line and asked us to start marching. Just like soldiers.

We did some training that almost break my legs. I can never be a body guard. Never.

Hours later, we stopped the heck of a training. I lay down on the field. I was hardly breathing.

I’m a woman for crying out loud. But I can’t say that. This training is really for boys. Strong boys.

To hell with the training.

Everyone sat down on the field panting.
“Okay everyone. Time up. When you’re done, you go into your room.” One of the teachers said.

After the king and the prince left, some of the students left too. I closed my eyes, enjoying the cool breeze.

“It’s a good thing you didn’t faint.” I opened my eyes and saw the prince’s green eyes staring at me.

” My prince!” I quickly sat up.

“Stand up! You’re following me to my room.” He turned and started to go.

Sh*t!

“I can’t stand up right now” I muttered.

“I heard that. I mustn’t get to the room before you.” I said sternly.

I breathed out and managed to stand up. I limped as I followed him to his room. Our room.

We got into the room and I couldn’t even see clearly. All I know was that, I landed on a big soft bed in the room.

Before closing my eyes, I could see the big frown on the prince’s face.
He’s so handsome when frowning.
