Episode 7

Christabel’s pov

“What?!” Everyone shouted.
Why the shout! What’s happening?

“No noise!” The teacher yelled.

“So, you all know what to do right?” The prince grinned.

What are they doing? Am lost.

Before I knew what was going on…..everyone had stood up from their seats and ran outside.

Even the teacher. I was the only one left. With the prince.

He got up from his seat and walked towards the door.
He’s going to leave me here?

“Where are they going?” I managed to ask.

“Ohh! To the field.” He simply said and left.

I sprang up from my seat and ran to catch up with him. He walks too fast.

“What are they gonna do on the field?” I asked, breathing hard.

“Oh! They are gonna do training till they gkt tired.” He chuckled.

“Training? What type of training?” I asked.

“When you get there you will know…..wait! You haven’t eat? Haha! You’re gonna die today” He laughed loudly.

I watched him as he laugh. He’s just too handsome. And I don’t understand him again.
He can laugh now, the next minutes he’s yelling.

I didn’t wanna ask anything again. Instead, I wanna see for myself.
But what about the prince? Cause he didn’t eat this morning too.

We got to the large field and saw everyone on the field. Each classes with two teachers.

I couldn’t see the prince beside me. So I joined my classmates.
Everywhere was quiet.

Soon, the prince came in then the …..king! In his royal regalia and a golden crown on his head.

I could say the queen is lucky to have him cause he’s still handsome. Even in his old age.

“Good morning, your majesty.” They greeted him while I kept shut.
They went on one knee and bowed down. I was standing but when I noticed I was the only one, I quickly did what they did.

“Rise!” The King’s thick voice came out.
“You all know why am here? Every 14th of the month, you all do your training.” He began.

I guess everyone forgot about it. No wonder they shouted back then in class.

“Yes!!” The student chorused.

“Oh my! I haven’t eaten.” Someone whispered.

“For how long is this gonna take?” I whispered to the boy.

“Four hours” He replied.
My eyes widened.

What? Four hours! Am gonna faint soon. What kind of training is that?

“Do you know why the king is doing all this?” I asked again.

“I heard the royal family is in danger most especially, the crowned prince.” He pointed to the prince, secretly.

Wow! Really? Is that why mom said, I’d be the one to save the prince?

Am sure, he has some enemies who are after him.
He’s the only one here. I heard his step siblings aren’t in this country.

“So, what’s the main reason for this?”

“This school isn’t just a school where you learn, it’s also a body guard school” The boy explained.

“Bodyguard?”
