CHAPTER 36

Two weeks after,Ayesha gave birth to a baby girl. The whole family was present at the hospital has Kabir followed her into the labour room. He had proposed to her and they were just planning thier wedding. He also bought a mansion for them so they could live together with their children after their wedding.

Natasha Eleanor Dalvetti arrived at exactly 1:20pm on Febraury 24. Every one in the Dalvetti and Sherman family was so happy to welcome a new member. Dora and Betty were the happiest on being a grandmother.

After Natasha Dalvetti turned a month,Ayesha and Kabir had their wedding. It was the talk of town. On the wedding night,they also celebrated the collaboration of DAL’s COOPERATION and AYSH GROUP which was now renamed AYKA cooperation.

They moved to their mansion and everything was just perfect for the both of them.

Khaleed had to rush to the pharmacy near his hospital to get the drugs his patient needed since the drug wasn’t available at the hospital.

He got to the pharmacy and was surprised to see Anoushka coming out. She hadn’t noticed him so she just continued home. Since he is a doctor,he always made sure his house was equipped with drug of all kinds for his workers.

And the last time he checked the house was not running out of any drug so what could Anoushka come to get at the pharmacy.

Since their night together he had maintained a boss-maid relationship with her and everything had been going well even though he found himself falling for her,but he did well in hididng his feelings. His mother who was now living with him has also been disturbing him to get married.

He quickly bought the drug he came for and went to administer it for his patient. He was determined to find out what Anoushka was doing at the pharmacy,or is his mother sick?

Many thoughts ran across his mind as he quickly attended to his patient and put a nurse to take care of him.He ran to the parking lot,got into his car and rushed home.

He got into the living room and met his mother watching television. “Khaleed,you’re back home early” Leonise said.

“Yes,i came to check something” Khaleed said pecking his mother.

“Okay. Ayesha called me and we spoke a lot. I also heard little Tasha giggles. Even Dora called too” His mother said. Khaleed was so happy the family is back to the way it was.

“Okay mum. I’m happy to hear that” He said smiling. “Where’s Noushka?”

“She just went in to have a shower” His mother said and he rushed to the maid’s room. When he got there,the shower was running and no maid was in the room. He quickly rushed to Anoushka bedside and met a drug on the bed.

It must be the drug she went to get. He thought as he picked the drug from the bed. It was an abortion tonic. What the hell is Anoushka doing with an abortion tonic? Or is she..?” His thoughts were interrupted by Anoushka’s voice.

“Master,what are you doing here?”

He looked up to see her wrapped in a towel,dripping. She was looking more beautiful with her wet hair. That was when he noticed she was looking more robust with full brea$t.

Anouska was shocked as she saw the drug she just purchased with Khaleed but she kept her cool. “Master?” She called Khaleed who was busy checking her out and didn’t answer the first time.

“What’s this for?” Khaleed finally asked.

“It’s pain reliever” Anoushka lied.

“Do you for once forget my profession?”

“No…it’s actually…i bought..” Anoushka stuttered knowing fully well she has been caught.

“How old? And who gave you the permission?” Khaleed asked obviously annoyed.

“Two months and two weeks”

“Do you want to die? And who gave you the permission to abort my child?” Khaleed shouted.

Anoushka was already sobbing by now. “I was left with no choice. You are in love with some one else and how do you expect a maid like me to tell you i’m carrying your child? You would have said it wasn’t for you and i can’t afford to be a single mother. I had to have an abortion”

“Do i look like that person to you? A person who will deny his own child,do i look like that to you? And you were present at Ayesha’s wedding,you know that even if i’m in love with her i can’t be with her and i’m not even in love with her anymore. She’s married to my brother”

Khaleed said while Anoushka just continued sobbing. Khaleed moved nearer to where she was standing. He held her by the shoulder while she lowered her head still sobbing.

“Listen Anouska” He continued. “I love you…i don’t know when and how but i do. I do love you a lot” Khaleed said while Anoushka raised her head up.

“You do?” She asked. “What of miss Sherman?”

“I got rid of my feelings for her a long time ago and she’s now Mrs Dalvetti with a daughter,remember? Khaleed said while Anoushka smiled. “You should smile often,you look more cute” Khaleed said cleaning her tears. “So? I said i love you…don’t you have what to say?” He asked.

“Like what?” Anoushka asked knowing fully well what Khaleed wanted her to say.

“I don’t know” Khaleed said. It was his turn to be nervous. He thought she was going to reject him and go on with the abortion.

“Maybe..something like…You know” He said scratching the back of his neck.

“I love you Khaleed” Anoushka said.

“Wow,i can’t believe you just called me that” Khaleed said blushing. He quickly placed a kiss on her forehead. “Let’s raise this child together” Khaleed said.

“Let’s do that” Anoushka replied while Leonise smiled from the doorway.
