My eyes widen immediately as I stare at her, shaking my head and she suddenly starts laughing which gives me the idea that she didn’t mean that.

“God, you should have seen your face, you should have seen the way that you looked at me, as if you were going to murder me.”

She chuckles and I shake my head at her.

“Well, I would have actually thought about doing it if you hadn’t laughed.”

I roll my eyes before staring at the bowl of soup that she had brought for me.

“Well, actually Alexander helped me to get you into the car but he left after that, saying that he had to be somewhere urgently. You should have seen the way that he looked when he carried you out, God! You looked so perfect in his arms.”

She grins and I shake my head at her before rolling my eyes over.

“I’m not perfect for him and I wanted to talk to him too. I think that there’s actually something weird about him.”

I sigh and she raises her brows at me.

“Why would you say that?”

“Well, because before everything that happened happened,I caught him in the bathroom when I was going to do something about my urges but because I wasn’t paying much attention, I had accidentally went to the men restroom. Now the strange thing is that when I had got there, at the door I could hear some voices like moans and then when I had actually entered. There was nothing, just him.”

I shrugs and she suddenly starts laughing as if I had said a joke or something.

“I don’t think that there’s anything weird about him. I think that you’re the weird one, I mean maybe because you were having huge uncontrolled urges then that you heard voices in your head when nothing was actually happening.”

She laughs and I shake my head.

“No, I’m not joking. I’m really saying the truth, I’m sure that I heard that voice. Those moans, they weren’t in my head, something was happening in there.”

“Then you entered and nothing was actually happening, I don’t think that’s possible. You were possibly hallucinating. Enough of that, you will have to get on your feet soon so you can go home.”

“Tonight?”

I stare at her and she laughs again. Why the hell does she keeps laughing at me? What’s so funny?

“Oh, I’m sorry. I’m just surprised that you think it’s still tonight, it’s morning already and your parents would want to come to the hospital now and since you aren’t really at the hospital, I think that you should go home plus, I think something might be happening.”

“Something like what?”

I ask and she just shrugs again.

“I don’t know. Just get up and go, will you? and drink this too.”

“I’m not sick you know. Why would you want to give me soup?”

I frown and she chuckles before pushing it to my chest.

“That’s because you look pale. I think that you might actually be getting sick.”

And before I could say anything else, she gets up and leave and I sigh before staring down at the soup and gulping it down.

I do still think that there’s something weird about Xander McCall. I just can’t say what.

 

“What do you plan on telling your parents, they said that they are actually coming over with some people, they sent me a text just now. They got delayed at the party last night or they would have visited but because I was there, they didn’t worry much.”

Cara says as she parks at the compound of my house and I nod at her.

“Who are they planning to come with?”

“I don’t know, maybe some… Oh my God!”

She suddenly exclaims and I raise my brows at him.

“What do you mean some.. oh my God.”

She points at a direction and I see my parents coming out with one older man and someone else that I keep getting bothered about.
