💓HUNTER💓

I got to school and I went to the parking lot immediately but Alexa wasn’t there.

I searched the classrooms and she wasn’t in any of it.

I went to the fish pond, garden and school field but still I can’t find her.

Where could she be?
I’d have to ask for her contact later cos I’d have text her assuming I have it now.

I left the football field and I head to the parking lot again.
I noticed something under a tree in front of the parking lot so I moved closer to check it out.

Lo and behold, it was Alexa sleeping soundly with her face buried in her laps.

I tapped her gently and she blinked several times trying to figure out where she is.

“I’m sorry I came late to get you.
Let’s go home now” I said to her.
I collected her bag from her and we both went home.

OMG! Everywhere is so dark.
I must have slept off while waiting for Hunter.
I wonder what he was doing that made him come so late to get me.

I followed him to his car and we didn’t say anything to each other till we get home.

The gate was opened by my aunt and I hugged her as soon as I stepped out of the car.

I collected my backpack from Hunter and I went to my room.

I removed my clothes and took a long shower. I wore a black mini gown afterwards.

Aunt Kate came to inform me that dinner is ready.
Aunt Kate made sandwich with a side dish of coleslaw.

“Why are you not eating? ” Aunt Kate asked.

I don’t eat coleslaw, that’s why.

💬I don’t have much appetite” I typed and send it to her.

“Okay dear, but try to eat the dessert even if you don’t eat the main course” she said.

I nod my head and I ate a apple pie instead.

I parked the used dishes to the kitchen and I washed them all.

I went to my room and stayed up all night doing my assignments.

I didn’t get to sleep a wink and now I’m walking like a zombie and I know I must look like something from ‘Walking dead’ right now.

“Alexa, what happened to you?” Uncle Evan asked as I stepped into the dining room.

“You need a cup of strong coffee” Aunt Kate added.

I just shrugged and sat down.
I’ve not seen Hunter this morning. I wonder where he is.

Aunt Kate went to the kitchen and minutes later she came out with the coffee.

I quickly gulped down the hot coffee not minding the fact that it has scalded my tongue.

I shot aunt Kate a grateful smile and I ate my omelette.

“I’m taking you to school today. Hunter has gone to school already because of early morning practice” Aunt Kate said.

That explains why I’ve not seen him.
I waved at uncle Evan and I followed Aunt Kate to school.

I got down from Aunt Kate’s car and I went to the locker room.

I have P.E first so I’m heading to the gym right now.

The P.E instructor paired us in groups and I was paired with a girl who looked like the female version of Mike Tyson.

We are learning a martial art called Judo.

“Warm up guys” the instructor said

My partner began to do press ups while I flexed my muscles.

I was gripped violently by the girl when we were asked to start the training.
I hope she doesn’t ki*ll me though.

I was trying to grab her legs but she outsmarted me and right now I’m lying face down on the gym floor.

I wiped the blood away from my nose using the back of my left hand and I managed to stand up.

By the time the P.E class was over I was feeling very weak.

” Take this” a guy said offering me a face towel.

I wiped the sweat and blood from my face with the towel.

Dear self, next time be mindful of who you’re paired with.

“Can you stand?” The guy asked.

I nod in affirmation and I brought my phone out.

💬Thanks so much for the help” I typed and I show him.

“You are welcome. I’m Dominic Williams” he said.

💬 I’m Alexa” I typed and I show him.

“Time to go. We’d see each other later” Dominic said.

I went to the restroom and I cleaned my body. I changed from the P.E wears to the gown I wore from home.

I went to the locker room and I took my notes out.

I was late for maths class already so I sneaked into the class using the back door.

The maths teacher left some assignments on the board before leaving.
I hope I get to sleep today though cos I can’t imagine doing assignments till tomorrow morning.

I went to the locker room to bring out my lunch bag and I returned the notes to my bag.

I got to the cafeteria with the hope of seeing an empty table and chair.

” Alexa, come and sit here” Someone said.

It was the guy I met at the gym who gave me his towel.
He was sitting with his friends.

I walked up to their table and I sat down on a chair.

💓HUNTER💓

I was eating at my table when I saw Alexa entering the cafeteria.

The guys were busy arguing about football but my mind wasn’t with them anymore cos I want to see where Alexa will sit.

I saw a guy offer her a seat at hus table.

I watched her go over to the table and she joined them.

I don’t really know who the guy is cos we don’t have any classes in common and he’s not on the football team but I’ve seen him in school occasionally.

I don’t want Alexa to start hanging out with just anyone especially the guys in this school.

I have to watch the guy closely so he won’t try anything funny with my cousin.

Who is that guy Alexa is smiling at?

I’ve been watching her since she entered the cafeteria and I don’t know why I love looking at her beautiful face

Did I just admit she’s beautiful? 🙆‍♂️

I didn’t know when I got out of my seat with my half eaten lunch and I head to the table where Alexa is.

I was introduced to Dominic’s friends.
Nathan and Paisley are very friendly as they both welcomed me warmly but their other friends Madison was the opposite of friendly.
She has been giving me a cold stare since I joined their table.

” Alexa, would you like to go to the cinema with me on Saturday?” Dominic asked.

Immediately he asked the question I looked at Madison and she was frowning deeply.

” You don’t have to give me a response now” Dominic continued.

” Response to what?” Oliver asked sitting on a nearby chair.

” Yeah, response to what exactly?” Hunter rephrased the question.

I wonder who asked these guys to come here now.

Nathan, Dominic, Paisley and Madison were all suddenly nervous and I wondered why.

“What are you guys doing here?” Dominic finally summon courage to ask.

” Obviously, we are here to eat as well” Dominic asked.

” But you guys are from the popular table” Madison stuttered.

Now I get why they were acting nervously.
I wonder what it takes to get invited to the popular table.

” What did you ask my cousin that you said you’d wait for her response?” Hunter asked Dominic while he ignored the question Madison asked.

” I invited her to come with me to the cinema on Saturday” he said.

” Okay, and I’m declining the invitation on her behalf” Hunter said.
