✨EPISODE THREE✨

Wednesday.
❣️ALEXA ❣

Hunter and I went our separate ways since I know the way to the locker room now.

Fortunately for me, I didn’t run into Oliver or his girlfriend in the locker room.

I went to my class and the class was so boring that I slept throughout.

I’ve always hated history classes.
I mean, who wants to learn about some old histories when there are other interesting subjects to be learned.

I opened my eyes when I heard the ringing of the bell.
The history teacher had left some assignments on the board.
I quickly copied the assignment down and I rushed to maths class.

The maths class was quite okay.
I understand the topics thanks to the special coaching classes I attended back at New York.

The bell for lunchtime was rang and I packed my books to the locker room.

I opened my locker and took out my lunch bag. I returned my books into my bag.

I entered the cafeteria and I went to the table where I ate my food yesterday. I was about to sit down when a girl stopped me from sitting.

“You can’t sit here. This table is already occupied”

I went in search of other tables but none was vacant.

I passed Hunter’s table and he didn’t notice me cos he was talking with his friends.

I saw Oliver’s girlfriend feeding him and I walked away quickly.

I walked out of the cafeteria and I saw a bench under a tree so I went there to eat.

“Hi, can I join you?” Someone said beside me.
I nod my head without turning to see who the stranger was.

“Thanks” the guy said.

I didn’t reply but continued to eat.

I finished eating and I look at the person eating beside me.

It was the guy from yesterday who I met before Hunter and I went to the locker room.
Why is he here?
He was eating at Hunter’s table minutes ago so I don’t understand why he came here.

I hope he won’t get into trouble with Hunter because he clearly told him to back off yesterday.

“I’m Jason and I’d like to be your friend” he said.

I took out my notepad and typed.

💬 I’m Alexa but I don’t want to be friends with anyone”
I show him what I typed and he was obviously sad.

” Why can’t we be friends? ” he asked.

I didn’t reply him and instead I stood up to leave.

“I mean no harm, Alexa. I just want us to be friends” Jason said.
Too bad I don’t want to make friends.

I’m tired of Ruby acting like a pest.
She has been getting on my nerves since morning.

I saw Alexa looking for a seat and I’d have asked her to eat at our table but Ruby will not be happy about that so I let it slide.

Alexa left the cafeteria and I felt the urge to leave the cafeteria as well but Ruby was feeding me so I was hooked.

Jason stood up from his seat and he went out to join Alexa.

I think he likes her.
Why am I even thinking about her?
She means nothing to me so I shouldn’t care who likes her or not.

“You all shouldn’t forget about my party” Landon announced.

” Okay” Hunter said.

I’ve forgotten about his party until now.

“Oliver, you’ve been quiet since morning. Hope there’s no problem” Landon said.

” It’s nothing” I replied.

Luckily, the bell was rang and I stood up from my seat and Ruby was sticking to me like a glue.
Thank goodness our classes are very different.

💓HUNTER💓

I think something is bothering Oliver but I can’t pinpoint what the exact problem is.
I just hope he’d open up so I can help cos he’s been there for me too in the past.

The boy in front of me passed a note to me discreetly.
It’s from Oliver saying the English teacher is looking at me in a weird way.

I quickly scribbled a response to him using the boy in front of me as the delivery boy.

” Hunter, what did I say last?” Ms Kilpatrick asked me.

I don’t know why this woman just hate me.
How am I supposed to know what her last statement was.

If only Oliver is sitting close to me today, he’d be able to give me a hint of what she said last.

“You should wait for detention after class since your mind is obviously not in this class” she said.

Whatever. I just hope she won’t give me some impossible tasks to do.

I wait impatiently for the bell to ring.
My prayers were soon answered and the woman left the class.
Oliver came to meet me as soon as Ms Kilpatrick left.

“I was trying to warn you to watch out for the witch” he said.

” Thanks man” I replied.

” See you tomorrow, I’m off to my next class” Oliver said.
I have physics next while he has history.

“Okay bro” I replied.

I walked to my next class and I ran into Ruby kissing a guy in the corridor.
This girl is such a b***h!

This minute she’s acting like she can’t live without Oliver and the next minute she’s kissing another guy entirely.
I wonder why Oliver hasn’t dumped her like the rest of his bitches.

❣️ALEXA ❣

I have a lot of assignments to do when I get home and I can’t wait to get home so I can finish it all on time.

I walked to the parking lot and I heard students making different comments about me.

“I heard she’s mute”

“She’s Hunter’s cousin”

“Too bad she is mute, I’d have love to date her”

“She’s really beautiful…

I didn’t stick around to hear the rest of the gossip.

I wasn’t born mute but I chose not to talk because of the circumstances that warrant it.

I’m not sure I’m ready to talk anytime soon.

I got to the parking lot and I leaned against Hunter’s car.

I wait for long and my legs were beginning to ache so I left the parking lot and I went to sit under the tree where I had my lunch.

I placed my head on my lap and I used my legs to tap the floor.

❤️OLIVER ❤

I missed mom’s call and I’m just seeing it now.
I was worried but I masked the worry with a smile.

I ran into Ruby and she was all over me so I had to look for ways to get rid of her so I can call my mom back.

📞 Hi mom. Hope there’s no problem?”

📞No. I just want you to help me get some groceries when you’re coming from school”

📞Okay mom. I’d definitely do that”

Thank God it’s just groceries she called for.
I thought maybe something bad has happened to him while I’m here.

I turned to go to the parking lot and that was when I noticed Alexa few feet away from me.

Her head was on her laps and I know she’s waiting for Hunter who is currently serving his detention with Ms Kilpatrick.

I went to her and I wanted to wake her up but I thought better of it so I left her there.

💓HUNTER💓

I’m just leaving Ms Kilpatrick’s office.
Geez, I don’t like the woman one bit.

She made me clean an abandoned classroom and I almost died of heart attack when I saw the huge spiders in that room.
If there’s one animal I hate most, it’s definitely spiders.

I had to report to her office when I finished cleaning the classroom and she followed me to check if I truly cleaned it or not.

At last, I’m free to go home.
I went to the parking lot and there was no sign of any student in the school again.

I opened the door of my car and I took off.

I got home and I sound the horn so mom could help me open the gate.

She came out minutes later and she opened the gate while I drive in.

I stepped out of the car and I greeted mom.

“Hi mom” I said.

” Hi dear. Why are you just coming home?”

“I was given detention by Ms Kilpatrick” I replied.

” Okay. By the way, where’s Alexa?” She asked.

Oh sh*t! I was so mad at Ms Kilpatrick that I totally forgot about her.

“Where is she?” She asked me again.

“I’m so sorry mom. I didn’t know she hasn’t come home cos I didn’t see anyone in the parking lot” I said.

” Go and look for her, okay?
How can you be so forgetful?” She scolded me.

I entered my car and drive back to school.

By the way, why did Alexa choose to be mute?
Hunter is also worried about something, I wonder what it is.
