Xander’s Pov

(Friday morning)

I feel great for some reason I woke up feeling amazing for some reason maybe it was because of yesterday’s game or maybe it was because of her…

Pttt… I better go pick her up then heaven knows I’ll get an earful if I’m late

 

As always I get stand it when she gets mad at me so I made sure to reconcile with her before first period and then I was off to class teacher’s and their usual boring lectures however I was able to get past it without sleeping off
Then I headed to my lockers to drop my books before bumping into Jennifer

“Hey Xander… She said pecking me while I slammed my locker

“Hey you… I said hugging her s bit trying to sound excited but quite frankly I only wanted to get to class and rest a bit

“I have big news Xander big big news

“You can tell me later Jennifer I’m late for class

“Okay Xander I just thought you would want to know that your bestie finally has a crush whiuch means you two would be spending less time together now do you be devoted to be me

“Kierra has a what now… I said turning back

“It’s nothing Xander I’ll tell you at the party or whenever we see again bye now… She said trying to walk away

“No tell me now… I said firmly

“Well you see I overheard her telling Maya she was in love with someone then I asked who and she confessed it was no other then Seth how sweet is that Xander… She said grinning

“Very sweet I just want to puke right now

“Well I think they make a great couple they compliment each other perfectly she’s lucky to have a guy like Seth and I hope they never stop loving each other… She added before walking away as I stared into thin air suddenly feeling angry for reason

 

I just wanted to avoid kierra for the rest of the day because I was scared of what I could do if i see her
I mean i could never hurt her but I’m afraid I might say harsh things to her simply because I’m mad at her she promised me that she wouldn’t think of falling in love with her which was a really stupid lie because she already likes him

During lunch I repeatedly kept trying to talk to Jennifer trying to get her out of my head so when she finally got to our table I acted like she wasn’t there and I acted extremely rude to her I insulted her yes but I only felt furious that she has feelings for that dirt bag and I can’t stand her having these feelings it just upsets me in ways I can’t explain.

After lunch was over I became even more angry that I was sure of I don’t calm down soon I might hurt something or someone in the process… I thought as I headed straight to the guys locker room

Luckily for me it was also empty so I took of my shirt and starting hitting the punching bag until I could feel my self sweating and my anger slowly reducing then I heard noises by the door but I simply ignored them till it became more frequent and when I looked towards the door kierra was standing there looking amused

And that was when it hit me that in fricking jealous of Seth and the only reason I’m doing this is because I’m attracted to Kierra.

 

Kierra’s Pov
After our little encounter at the locker I kept on smiling all the way throughout class that very day until it was finally time to go home and for most of us it was time to get ready for the party

Many walked out in pairs as I looked around for any signs of Maya but it was as if she was long gone already I headed to the parking lot in hopes of finding Xander but instead I bumped into someone else

“Sorry… I said bending down to pick up what had fallen

“No it’s okay I wasn’t looking anyways… A girl of about my age said adjusting her glasses

“Am Freya you..

“Kierra… I said smiling

“Nice name Kierra I have to go now I’ll see you later… She said rushing off immediately

“Wow she talks to mid air now..
Xander said behind me

“What…

“You you’re taking to mid air there’s no one there and yet you’re taking

“But there was someone here and she just left

“Yeah or the obvious and you’ve lost it Bes.

“No I haven’t let’s just go

“Okay say bye to your imaginary friend first

“Start the cat bird brain… I said getting in

“It’s not my fault your imaginary friend is mad

“Shut it shut it forever… I screamed as she chuckled

“Damn I love annoying you so freaking much… He added before driving off

 

As always the house was empty when I got home I expected max to go out and have fun or singing and I wasn’t disappointed because there was no sign of him in the house whatsoever

I hurriedly freshened up while waiting for Maya to show up before grabbing a snack still waiting her arrival before I heard the door bell

“Coming… I said getting up

“Since when do you knock Maya… I said opening up the door

“Hey you you’re late… I said as she walked in

“She walked in looking down before taking a sit on the couch

“Gosh kierra you have no idea no idea I couldn’t believe what happened I’m so shocked I regret finding out I should have just let the sleeping dogs lie why did I have to find out… She said repeatedly

“Maya Maya calm down and tell me what’s wrong

“I figured out how max and Jennifer know each other so well

“What how common spill… I said seating down

“Well Jennifer you see was once the mother of his unborn child

“What… I screamed getting up

“Jennifer was pregnant with max’s child before its all so frustrating I just can’t believe this too I can’t I can’t… She said as her whole body shook

“Where’s the baby now

“That’s all I know that she was pregnant I have no idea what happened after then I really don’t know why he would keep such a secret from me for so long Kierra gosh it hurts so much… She said sobbing a bit

“But I’ll find out whatever it takes he had no right to keep that secret from us

“Are you sure of what you found out

“Hundred percent kierra common let’s get you ready for that party but I’m. Not going I’m staying home with your brother he has tons of explaining to do… She said running up the stairs as I followed subtly behind
completely speechless that I may have am exiting niece or nephew which I knew nothing about shattered my heart

 

Maya trued everything humanly possible to look happy for me but I knew it was just a front as she was really broken inside all because of max who still was missing right now

“Okay done… She said smiling as I stared at my reflection in the mirror satisfied with my looks

“You look beautiful Kierra… She added as I smiled even more

“Are you sure you don’t wanna come..

“I’m sure kierra you should head downstairs they must be looking for you right now… She said as she cleaned up my room

 

I walked down the stairs to find Xander already seated with Jennifer and Seth taking a sip of water he was the first to notice me and he kept staring making me feel extremely nervous until he got to the stairs grabbed my hand and we walked together until Xander noticed me
His eyes went wild when he took in my look and he made no effort to hide that fact until he cleared his throat

“Umm since you’re here now we should get going… He said

“Yeah let’s get going… Seth said as his hands moved to my waist while I gasped this time in shock

“Hands off now.. Xander said pointing to my waists

“Xander I see nothing wrong his her date so…

“Hands off.. Xander said cutting Jennifer off

“Now… He repeated as Seth carefully removed his hands from my waists as I linked our hands together not caring if Xander was glaring hard at the both of us right now

“Shall we… I said taking the lead until the knob twisted

“Oh hey dad… I said unlocking our hands as Xander smirked behind me

“Hey babe girl is this the guy..

“Dad…i warned

“What I just need to give him some ground rules before you go

“Ground rules…I asked confused

“My daughter is not to be given alcohol you got that…

“Yes sir

“That’s the first rule breaker it I’ll break you am I clear..

“Crystal sir

“My daughter is not to be forced if she does not want to dance okay

“Okay

“Okay what… He said firmly

“Okay sir

“That’s the second rule dare to break it and I’ll make sure I break your hands do you understand

“Yes sir

“Good and lastly and the most important rule of all anything and anything at all that Xander says go that is he has complete and total control over my daughter.. He finished as my mouth fell open

“Have fun but don’t you dare Do anything out if place

“You don’t have to worry sit i’ll be there for her

“Pttt I really don’t need you to be Xander’s there so I’m sure kierra would be perfectly okay

“Yeah yeah Xander watch her properly okay

“Okay…He said biting his lower lip so he wouldn’t laugh

“I feel like I’ve seen you somewhere.. He said to Jennifer

“Umm that’s not possible sir… She said forcing a smile

“Okay my boy you can go now and next time no much touching… He said pointing to our hands as we exited the house

“This is gonna be a really really long night… I thought as I faced palmed myself…..
