My mood dropped drastically since Stefan left. I tried to watch TV but lost interest. I tried to cook but that was even worse. I ended up laying on the couch feeling sorry for myself.

She must have given him a welcome hug, prepared his bath and served him food to eat like such a happy couple. I scoffed in dismay before grabbing my phone trying to pre occupy myself.

When that didn’t work, I figured I would call Sharon and tell her everything that happened. We’ve been in contact for the past three weeks and she’s the only friend I have since things are a bit rocky between Ethan and I.

She answered almost immediately.

📞 Hi.

📞 Hey girl. How was work?

📞 It was fine. The usual. I had a lot of work to do and then I saw Stefan again… A normal…

📞 You what!

She screamed cutting me short.

“Here we go…”

I thought to myself calming her down so I could explain everything that happened today.

📞 And that’s it. I’m helping him get his son back the right way.

📞 And after that?

📞 I don’t know Sharon. I guess I’m just taking it one bit at a time.

📞 Wow. What he did was hilarious though. Acting like he didn’t know you and all.

She chuckled over the phone.

📞 It was damn annoying.

📞 And then he just left without actually touching you. I expected a mind blowing kiss.

She whined and I felt even worse.

📞 It is what it is. That’s all that happened.

📞 And Ethan? Are you going to go back to normal with him.

📞 I don’t know for sure. I just don’t want to talk to him yet.

📞 Alright then. I guess I’ll call you tomorrow. Bye girl.

📞 Bye.

She made a kissing sound at the other end before I finally hung up.

I decided to take one more shower before going to bed before I die of boredom.

Suddenly, a knock came at the door. It was almost eight pm so it beats me who that might be.

I looked through the key hole and it was Stefan. Immediately, I froze. It took a few seconds to recover from my shock before finally letting him in.

“I  know it’s late and I just left here but I can’t go home. I’ll drive myself crazy. Not after seeing you again. I….”

“It’s okay.”

I cut him short with a smile. I can’t hide that I’m happy he’s here and not with her.

“I can stay here.”

“Are you going to go back later?”

“I don’t want to.”

“You can stay, it’s fine.”

“Thank you.”

He smiled and came in fully shutting the door behind him.

“It’s really hard…”

“What’s hard?”

“Being so close and not kissing you.”

I choked on my breath calming myself down.

“Oh…”

I said nervously.

“I don’t want to have to control myself Lina.”

“Uhmm”

I trailed off and he was right behind me at this point.

“I won’t control myself Lina…”

He says and I know he’s behind me.

“I won’t …”

He added, spun me around and gave into his desire giving us both what we wanted.

My legs were wrapped around his waist and I guess it was instinct because he was leading the way into my bedroom.
