She ran a hand through her braids repeatedly,she was very nervous. She wasn’t one for speaking in public or in any type of gathering but now she was chosen to deliver a boring speech in front of about a hundred people. She picked the sheet containing the speech she was supposed to deliver and skimmed through it,pacing about.She stopped at the center of the room and sighed heavily. Everything was going to be fine,she told herself,just take a deep breath. All you have to do is keep your head up,walk up there,give the speech fluently and confidently and get out. She breathed in sharply when she heard the announcement,it was time. A woman came into the room and escorted her out,”you’ll go up there in about two minutes”she said to her. Naeto was supposed to be here but he was running late. Two minutes later,she walked up the stage,looking towards the audience and there she saw Naeto at the far back,smiling at her. She smiled back,feeling less anxious and in that moment she felt complete.
