She stared at him,not saying a word.She had forgiven him already;she wasn’t one to hold grudges for long;even if the scholarship had meant so much to her and it had pained her more that he was the one who hurt her. He licked his lips and said,”I searched for another scholarship according to your preference and i found one.Don’t reject it,please.Just tell me what I need to do to earn your forgiveness.” He looked and sounded hopeful.That was all she needed,his sincerity and care.She smiled and said,”I just want a true friend.” He stared at her then hugging her tightly,he whispered,”Friends again?” She nodded and in that moment she felt peace.
