CHAPTER 18

Pluto ran out of the car before it could explode and headed towards DAL’S COOPERATION. It ran past the securities into the building leaving the securities to run after it.It ran toward the steps that led to Kabir’s office. Kabir and Mr Moon were talking about what happened in the meeting with the shareholders when they started hearing noises. “What’s going on downstairs?” Kabir asked curiously.
“I don’t know,let me check” Mr Moon said and headed towards the door. Immediately he opened the door Pluto jumped in barking and jumping with the securities following it.
“We’re very sorry sir, we tried stopping the dog but it was too fast. We will take it out now.” The head security said to Kabir as he was going to take the dog away.
“No,no,leave it. It’s trying to pass something across” Kabir said stopping the head security and trying to figure the dog language.
“Something must have gone wrong” Mr Moon said. “Maybe Miss Sherman is in danger”
Kabir didn’t allow Mr Moon to finish his statement before he grabbed his car keys and started following the dog. When they got to the parking lot Mr Moon had ran after him and he was panting. “Mr Dalvetti,you might also be in danger” Mr Moon said trying to stop him.
“But i have to save Aysh so get into the car” Kabir shouted at him as they both got into the car and started following Pluto.
Kabir was suprised when they got to the scene and found Aysh car burning. He and Mr Moon ran out of the car towards the burning car. “What are you doing? Call 9-1-1” Kabir said to Mr Moon.
Not less than two minutes after Mr Moon call,fire fighters were there trying to put out the fire. Kabir and Mr Moon just watched from afar. After the fire was put out and there was thorough search in the car the team leader of the fire fighters walked up to Kabir. “Are you Mr Dalvetti who called us here?” He asked.
“Yes i am,anything yet?” Kabir asked impatiently.
“Are you sure there was someone in that car when it exploded?” He asked.
“Yes,i’m very sure there was someone”
“I’m sorry sir but we didn’t find anyone in the car. Not even ashes” The fire fighter explained.
“What do you mean by there was no one in the car?” Kabir asked,annoyed.
“We didn’t find anyone in the car. Dead or alive. The car is empty. We’ve done what we can do now sir and would like to take our leave” He concluded as he went over to his team and called them together as they all left the scene.
Kabir was stranded to where he was standing. He couldn’t bring himself to believe Aysh was missing. The press had arrived as they were curious on what happened to the famous AYSH GROUP heiress. Everything would be on air in the next thirty minutes. He blamed himself for believing she was not in danger while she was in great danger.
“What do we do with the dog?” Mr Moon voice brought him out of his thoughts. He had completely forgotten about Pluto. Then an idea struck his mind. “Take him home” He said.
“Home?…Where?” Mr Moon asked confused.
“To my house. It might help us in finding her”

He had been there. He had seen how she had fumbled with the brake of the car. He had seen how the dog ran out before the car started somersaulting to God knows where. The car had exploded few feets away from where his own car was parked and the only thing he thought of was to save the lady inside. He had ran to the nearest shop immediately the car exploded,poured a bucket of water on himself and ran to save the lady. He took her to his car and drove her to Sudo Hospital. A stretcher ran to him and took the unconcious half-burnt lady away. He was now in the doctor’s office waiting for him to say whatever he had to say.
Doctor King came inside his office from his closet cleaning his hand. After he finished he went to sit on his seat,infront of him.”Khaleed,” He called. “The patient you brought here,her condition is very critical. Half of her body got burnt and the most serious part is that she might loose the baby she’s carrying” Doctor King explained to Khaleed.
“She’s pregnant?” Khaleed asked.
“Yes,she is. Now,we want to get a plastic surgery done for her,so you have to sign this papers” Doctor King said giving Khaleed the documents to sign.
“I can’t sign this” He said after going through the papers.
“Why?”
“In this paper her name was asked and i don’t have any idea on what that is” He explained.
“You don’t know her name?” Doctor King asked while Khaleed nodded. “Then how did you end up with that type of patient?”
“I’m just a good samaritan”
“She will not survive it if we don’t carry out the surgery within two hours”
“Right now i’m so confused,let me think it over” Khaleed said standing up to leave. As he got to the reception he turned to the television and saw the burning car he left behind. He took the TV Controller and increased the volume. “The famous AYSH GROUP hieress was involved in an accident. This is the acident scene and her car that exploded,but unfortunately the body of Ayesha Sherman wasn’t found in the car so it’s still a mystery if she’s dead or alive……” The young looking man on the TV announced.
That was when Khaleed saw him in the crowd looking desolated. The only time he had seen Kabir’s face was when he was searching for his biological father after his mother was killed by his stepfather. This was the first time he would see him-not very clearly. He looked handsome and he didn’t hate his looks and stature,he was his stepbrother afterall. But how come he was at the accident scene? Could it be that Kabir knows Ayesha or were they having something together? He thought within himself. He couldn’t conclude yet,what he had to do was to save the dying lady. He headed back to the doctor’s office. I’m ready to sign the papers” He said to doctor King.
“Are you sure about this? Do you know her name already?”
“Yes” Khaleed said picking the papers from where he dropped it and filled it. All he had to do was to know how Kabir and Ayesha were related and he will know what next to do with her. If they were into a very serious relationship then he will have no choice than to let her go,but if they didn’t get along then he was going to use her to get to the Dalvetti’s. He was going to use her to get his revenge on his father. He finished signing the paper and handed it over to doctor King. “I will inform the surgical crew and start the surgery immediately,just deposit the money in the hospital account” Doctor King said checking the papers.
“You’re not going to regret doing this Khaleed Benson” He assured himself.

Gabriel had seen the news and he knew something was wrong somewhere.Ayesha was not dead and the accident might be traced back to him. He didn’t want anyone to ruin his campaign for the country Mayor. He would look for her and make sure he ki*ll her immediately. He called Kay to his office. “That b***h is not dead” He said to Kay after he came into the office. “Someone must have saved her. I want you to get where she is and if you do don’t spare her,ki*ll her immediately. Am i clear?”
“Yes boss” Kay said bowing his head and leaving the office.
