CHAPTER 12

Ayesha woke up when the sun ray was streaming from the window on her face. She had slept for so long,she touched Kade’s side of the bed to check if he was still there but he was gone.
“Nothing happened” she said to herself as stood up from the bed making her stomach grumble. That was when she remembered she didn’t have dinner the last night. But rule number 3 stated ‘don’t enter my kitchen’. She didn’t want to break the rule so she started checking all around the house for Kade but couldn’t find him. She later went to the kitchen and started going through the refrigerator but couldn’t find anything. “What are you doing in my kitchen?” she staggered back when she heard his voice from behind.
“You scared me” She said passing beside him to sit on a stool when she finally got back from her shock.
“You haven’t answered my question yet” He said.
“I was hungry,you left me all alone in the house with nothing. I was really hungry” She pouted.
“You broke a rule” He said nonchalantly.
“Seriously Kade? This is not about a f****ng rule,i haven’t had anything since yesterday night” Aysh said annoyed.
“And do i look like i care?”
“You don’t?” she asked surprised.
“Of course”
“You should”
“Why?” He asked.
“Because i’m your boss and i pay you. I hired you personally and if i die of hunger then you lost your job” She stated.
“Do you also know what? I don’t enjoy a boss that spends his employee’s money. You want to spend the money you pay me?” He said “You only said you wanted to pass the night here,you didn’t include having breakfast”
“Sorry,i don’t have where else to go i’m afraid i will have to stay till further notice”
“Further notice? If you don’t have where else to go then go back to your house” Kade stated.
“I can’t. Please i can’t go back to that house now” She pleaded.
“Don’t you have a female friend or any other friend that you can go stay with?” He asked.
“I don’t. My only friend is Pluto and….you” She said lowering her face.
“I’m not your friend” He was about to continue when he heard a grumble. “What was that?” He asked.
“Here” she said pointing to her tummy. “Please get me some food i’m really hungry i’m going to die” She pleaded again.
“As you can see there’s no food in my house” He said shrugging. “And i have to get to work” “Work? What work?” she asked suprised. “Do you have another job?”
“AYSH GROUP of course. You’ve been the one delaying me” He said.
“Kade you don’t need to go to work today. At least you work for me and i’m here”
“No,i have to get to work. I don’t want anyone cutting my pay”
“I will increase it” She rushed.
“Okay fine there’s no money on me so give me your Credit card”
“Okay” She answered as she rushed to their room to get her credit card,not less than a minute she was back.
“Your pin?” He asked.
“1111”
“So simple”
“I don’t keep complicated pins,please go now” She said as she pushed him to the door.

Ayesha was sitting in Kade’s living room when she started hearing a voice outside. The person was shouting “Kabir” as the voice came nearer to Kade’s door.
Javier pushed the key into the door lock as he kept on calling Kade by his real name. He opened the door to see Aysh waiting there. “Miss Sherman!!!” He shrieked,taken aback.
“Hi,do you know me?”Aysh asked smiling.
“Sure,who won’t know the famous AYSH GROUP hieress” Javier said still shocked to the bone but was maintainig himself.
“Ahhh. But there’s no Kabir living here” Aysh said.
“Oh,did i mention Kabir when i was approaching?” He asked feigning ignorance.
“Yes you did and i heard it very clearly” Aysh said.
“Oh dear old age must be approaching,i must have been missing my younger son so much” He said holding his head.
“So,who are you to Kade?” Aysh asked.
“He’s my first child” Javier lied.
“Oh i didn’t know” Aysh said paving way for Javier to enter into the house. He was holding a basket full of different sizes of cooler filled with food. She was also happy to see it ’cause Kade has left the house for the past twenty minute and was yet to return. Javier walked over to the dinning table and started arranging the coolers on it. “I brought food for my son” “Wow” Aysh said as she admired the food,only the rich could eat this type of food. She brought out a plate and started dishing food into it.
“But who are you to my son and where is he?” Javier said pretending not to know her.
“I’m his boss and he went out to get stuffs” She said as she started eating hungrily.
“But why are you in his house” He asked not liking her presence in Kabir’s house,she was a very beautiful woman any man can fall in love with immediately and he didn’t want anything to stop Kabir from achieving his goals. At least not her.
“Business stuffs” She said as she swallowed her food.
“I see,so when are you going back to your house?” He asked.
“I don’t know” She shrugged.
“You don’t know?!!!” Javier shouted suprised.
“Yeah,is something wrong” She asked suprised at how he shouted.
“Nothing is” He said smiling and giving her a glass of water to drink which she collected reluctantly. Just then Kade entered into the room holding shopping backs in his hands. He was suprised to see Javier. “Javier” He exclaimed not noticing Aysh on the dinning table.
“Kabir” Javier called back. He had completely forgotten about Aysh who was behind him.
“Hi Kade,did you get the stuffs? Your dad here must be missing your brother so much” Aysh said pointing to Javier.
“Brother?” Kade said suprised.
“Yeah,Kabir is in L.A,i forgot to tell you” Javier said quickly catching up and gave Kade a wink.
“Oh yeah,Kabir. I almost forgot about him” Kade said moving to the dinning table as he dropped the foodstuffs on it.
“Your mother said i should drop this food for you,she made it herself” Javier said.
“Okay tell her thanks” Kade said dragging Javier away from Aysh who as busy devouring the food.
“What is she doing here?” Javier whispered when they finally got to his room.
“Nothing” Kade said.
“Nothing?”
“Nothing really,she just got into a fight with her dad and she left home so she came here” Kade explained.
“So this is the next place she thought of?”
“I guess so”
Javier sighed. “You have to be very careful. I came here to tell you that anytime you are free just come home to check on your father” Javier explained
“How is he?” He asked.
“As usual” Javier said. He was about to leave the room when he sighted Aysh dress on the chair. “She sleeps in your room?” Javier said turning to Kade.
“I guess” Kade said smiling.
“What do you mean by that? What if something happens between you two? Is there no spare room?” Javier rushed.
“Nothing is going to happen between us,i know what i’m doing” Kade said leading the way to leave the room.
“You just have to be careful around that girl and know the reason you’re here” Javier said leaving the room.

If Aysh have sense she’s meant to suspect something there oo,but hunger have blinded her.🙄
