Taylor’s Pov
It’s been four days since Mason’s father came back yeah four days since I kissed mason and it has been the best four days of my life, mason doesn’t let an opportunity to kiss me pass him by, in school or when he drops me off it’s like he enjoys it, but not as much as I do, kissing him has become an hobby and it’s even sweeter the more he does it, these past few days have been good, for one mason is finally warming up to his father, they hug and smile at each other and Annabel heard him out and being the open hearted person she was she readily let him back into her heart and her life, things are looking well for the Kendal family but one thing tat bothers me is that mason hasn’t made it officially yet, I mean he makes it official before he kisses a girl but we’ve kissed severally and he hasn’t asked me yet, I mean I know we’re dating and all but it’s kinda fake and I was really hoping that he would do that romantic stuff and ask me properly but I got nothing from him and it’s kinda frustrating, sasha and Mitch have laid off our backs completely and everything is going great even the scavenger hunt which ends today is going extremely well and I think we actually have a chance at winning this we just need one more item a ship in a bottle and once we find that today we’ll win and I’ll also win the bet with mason, I seriously can’t wait!.
So for today what I have planned is to simply win the hunt and beat mason,with that in mind I blinked my eyes open entering my bathroom to get the water balloons I kept last night, opening my door slightly entering their rooms making sure to give them and early morning wake up call and a good bath.

I was set for school since I hardly wait for Collins these days anymore, I walked straight to school trying to recall where I can find a ship in a bottle because I really doubt the school would have any, as a precautionary method our bags were searched to show we didn’t take any items to aid in the hunt, I walked straight to make locker as Jenny was in sight, I smiled inwardly recalling when I had absolutely no one but now I have a best friend,jenny makes life so much easier and I can’t imagine how my life would be if she wasn’t in it.

“Hey Jennette… I said smiling.

“Hey yourself how are we gonna find that ship in a bottle.

“I don’t know but we have less than an hour till the hunt is over.

“Hey ladies… Ian said smiling as I smiled back.

Ever since that day Ian and I have been great friends, we grew closer than ever although mason keeps getting suspicious I really think Ian is a good friend and one I wouldn’t want to loose.

“Any ideas on the last item.

“Not really it’s like they really don’t want anyone to win this year.

“Yeah the item isn’t in this school it’s like it hasn’t been created… She said as something clicked.

“Created… That’s it… I said raising my voice.

“What’s it.

“The hunt says a ship In a bottle it doesn’t mean we have to find one we can make one all we need is a reduced ship from Arts and crafts and I have a bottle in my locker..
I said smiling.

“OMG that’s genius we could be done in ten minutes and we would win… She said giggling.

“Not on my watch… Sasha said grinning evilly.

“Hey everyone I know you’re on hung up on the last item and I love a good competition so I’ll tell you, I figured out that we need to create the item and not look for it, thank me later… She said as students took a minute to process it before running off.

“Now we’re even… She said grinning grabbing a bottle running too.

“No no no… I said lowly.

“Common Taylor we can still do it you go stay at the secretary office I’ll get the bottle… I an said.

“I’ll get the ship… Jenny said.

“And I’ll help keep people out of her way… Timothy said.

“I heard it all Sasha will pay… He said furiously.

“Later ….we can do this…Ian said as we all nodded before running off.

I ran as fast as I could towards the finishing point so to say where the items would be counted, we kept all our ninety nine items close by so I grabbed the bags of items as I stood at the line smiling.

“Do you have all your items… The secretary said smiling.

“In a minute ma.

“Okay dear.

I smiled when I noticed Jenny in sight with the ship in the bottle, I tried to warm her that Sasha was behind her but it was too late as she tripped loosing balance the bottle breaking into pieces.

“Oops… Sasha said smirking as Justin walked behind her.

“I win… She muttered as all I saw was red.

“No she can’t win… I thought nearly breaking into tears.

“Double oops… Mitch said gasping as she ran into Sasha who broke her own bottle.

“Swears it wasn’t intention… She said smirking,her team dropping the items as it was counted.

“It Seems we have our winner… The principal said as their items were counted.

“Hmm… This is nice… His husky voice said as I inhaled deeply.

“It should’ve been you… He added.

“Nahh I had fun plus you didn’t win too.

“But technically you didn’t.

“Yeah we both lost.

“Yeah so call it even.

“Yeah yeah so that means we both can ask right.

“Yeah so what do you want… Mason said.

“You go first.

“No you do.

“Nope you… I said.

“Nooo you… He said as I sighed.

“Okay I wanna know what’s between us.

“No slave anymore…

“Nahh… I said chuckling.

“And the winner of this year’s scavenger hunt is Mitch and her team… The principal announced as I cheered laughing at Sasha’s face.

“We’re so even… I muttered as she turned red.

“Mitch won… He repeated as I nodded.

The principal gave a speech on how much fun this year’s hunt was plus he promised the winning team a vacation with a plus one and I couldn’t help but feel bad nevertheless everything happens for a reason right, everyone cheered when he announced that we could take the rest of the day to rest as normal activities would continue tomorrow, students walked away probably to have fun leaving mostly me and mason since he was all I could notice.

“So before I tell you my own I have to answer yours right so….. Well what I can say I just want to be with you always right now in fighting the urge to pull you closer and kiss you I wanna make you mine and I want to show everyone else that you’re mine and mine alone I mean what’s between us is beautiful and so special I would never trade it for anything in the world, I guess I’ve just been scared but now that you mention it I’m reality just gonna say it and then I’m gonna stop fighting the urge and just kiss you.

“I love you Taylor hartway… He said as my heart skipped a beat.

“Awn… I heard a voice said as I turned to make sure I wasn’t dreaming.

Shawn’s Pov
Yipee! Our plan worked I just can’t believe it actually work he said the words and he meant it finally mason is gonna be happy I just can’t hold it in anymore.

“Shawn… Taylor asked confused.

“Yeah it’s me I knew coming over yesterday would do some good plus I really wanted to be extra sure you like mason just as much as he loves you… I said as she stared in shock.

“You’re probably confused so lemme explain things so I planed this all along well not just me Mitch too… He said as her eyes widen.

“I’m so sorry that I had to ruin your friendship for a little while but I had to show you that you weren’t in love with me and I had to show mason that you were the girl he needed so why you two were trying to bring us together I brought you two together… I said as she gasped.

“So you mean Mitch wasn’t my nemesis.

“Sasha wasn’t part of the plan but she played her part very well in drawing you two closer together and I’m just so happy that finally you both are happy.

“I’m sorry Bes… Mitch said snuffling as I hugged Taylor tightly.

“I’ve missed you and I’m glad it’s all over… she said as Taylor chuckled.

“OMG I just can’t believe it.. Taylor said.

“Well believe it because it’s happy I watched your love for each other blossom and I smiled each time I did, your love is forever don’t let it ever die… I said as she blushed.

Taylor’s Pov
Someone freaking pinch me!
I think I’m dreaming, so this was all part of Shawn’s plan to bring Mason and I together and it worked but most importantly I have my childhood friend back, Mitch doesn’t hate it she just wanted what was best for me, I’m so happy I can literally burst out of joy, I turned to look at mason who stayed speechless looking shocked.

“I don’t know what to say Man I mean no one had ever done something like this to me.

“Well don’t say anything I just want you to be happy and you are at least the planning wasn’t in vain and Taylor I’m sorry for the embarrassment I just had to do it to open your eyes, I’m truly sorry…Shawn said as I nodded slowly.

“Taylor I’m sorry for leaving you all These years I really am… Mitch said as we hugged.

“It’s my turn to ask now… Mason said as I smiled

“What do you want… I asked playfully.

“You… He said biting his lips.

“I only want you… You asked what’s between us the bottom line is I really love you and I want the whole school to know I love you so what I’m gonna ask you is…. Would you be mine Dearie… He said as I smiled covering my face.

“Care to make it official… He added smirking.

“Double awwn… Mitch said giggling behind me as I blushed even harder if that was possible.

I had to calm myself not to rush into his arms this very moment and kiss hell out of him before screaming yes, just this morning I had been wondering why he hadn’t made it official and now he wants to not only that he says he loves me and I love him too gosh  it felt good to admit that I really really love him, at first I thought it wasn’t love but now I’m sure that I love him so care to make it official yes but… The minute I remembered it I wiped the smile off my face looking serious as I muttered the words.

“I’m sorry I can’t… I said simply as his face fell.

“Whatt!…. Mitch and Shawn screamed simultaneously.

“But why… He said softly looking hurt.

“It’s simply because…I said staring at him.
