Taylor’s Pov
I couldn’t stop smiling, mason couldn’t stop staring, he decided to drop his bike as we would walk to the party which was okay by me since I was in a mood for an evening work.

“You’re staring… I said softly.

“How Can I not… You’re… Beautiful… He said sighing as I smiled.

“I’ve always known that, no matter what you wear you were always beautiful but now everyone else would see that… He said intertwining our fingers.

“Or they’ll still see me as an ugly duckling.

“I doubt it but if they do I still wouldn’t give a f**k… He said as I started swinging our hands.

“why didn’t you take the bike.

“Was in the mood for a walk… He said shrugging.

“Well what do we do when we get to the party.

“What do you wanna do.

“Well I usually stay at the bar, staring at Shawn.

“Oh… He said dejected.

“But…. I was thinking since I changed my clothes I could change my plans.

“Oh really…

“Yeah… So Mr Kendal what you do have in mind.

“Ever heard of the Walter’s room.

“Well of course everyone has, where the games are played and all.

“Ever been there.

“Well not really it’s kinda off limit.

“Then I’ll take you there… He said as I stopped abruptly.

“What’s wrong…

“Well it’s just I kinda won’t fit it.

“You’ll be with me nothing else matters… He said as I blushed unintentionally.

“But what if…

“What if nothing Taylor you’ll be fine… Now the party’s almost starting we should get moving.

 

We were close enough since I could hear the music like every high school party, cars parked at parking lot and students trooping in and out having an amazing Friday night.
I was fidgeting as always since I was nervous as hell.

“It’ll be alright… He said smiling reassuringly.

“Hay Kendal who’s the new chick… Justin said behind me as I froze.

“She’s pretty right… Mason said as I elbowed him.

“Hot man…

“Now let’s not get carried away

“Alright… Alright… Aren’t you gonna at least introduce us.

“I’ll be delighted to.

“Mason… I called out begging him not to do this.

“Justin… Meet… Taylor harttway my girlfriend… He said as I blushed using my hands to cover my face.

“Common now don’t be shy… He said and I could tell he was smirking while he turned me, carefully removing my hands as Justin’s face fell.

“Holy f**k, you clean up nice Taylor…

“You look hot…

“So mason…

“Shut it… Mason said glaring.

“Come within two feet of her I’ll out you six feet so you can meet Mother Nature… He said as I giggled.

“Don’t you think that was too harsh… I said as we walked away.

“No he’s a jerk.

“Alright alright let’s go in then… I said smiling.

 

The colored lights in the house was eye blinding but at least no one would notice me that much, and as always fate proves me wrong.

“Who’s the chick… Shawn’s voice said as he stood in front of us.

“Does Taylor know you’re with her.

“Look closer moron… Mason said.

“Argg who is she… Shawn said smirking as Mitch walked towards us.

“What’s up… She said as Shawn held her by her waist.

“Disgusting… I thought.

“Taylor…?…shawn asked shocked

“Oh god…Stupid… I said that out loud.

“No it can’t be she’s suppose to be ugly…mitch said dragging me outside.

“Oh now I get it… You decided to change you’re outfit you’re so much uglier now.. She said cackling.

“You’re so blind… Mason said as she stood besides me.

“Nahh I’m not.

“Alright let’s see.

“Shawn Mitch or Taylor who looks prettier this night… Mason said as I stared at him shocked whislist Mitch smiled at Shawn.

“Mason what are you doing… I said gritting my teeth.

“Common Shawn… Answer… Mason said as I tried to make him stop.

“Taylor is… I heard a voice say because it couldn’t be Shawn’s.

“Taylor is… He repeated as I blinked my eyes,pinched myself to be sure I wasn’t dreaming.

“You have to be kidding me tell me you’re freaking joking… Mitch said raising her voice.

“Common Taylor let’s go… He said taking my hand as I took one last glance at Shawn.

“Why did you do that… I said glaring at him.

“Because apparently you’ll only listen if Shawn calls you beautiful.

“No one else matters… Mason said lowly.

“You know that’s not true.

“Oh it’s not, Mitch said you’re not, your mood changed then Shawn said otherwise and now I bet you’re jumping with joy… He said rolling his eyes.

“Mason I…

“I’ll get us some drink… You should sit for a while… He said walking away as I looked for where to sit.

“Gosh why do I have to mess things us… I thought placing my hand on my head.

“Mason I… I tried to say as I heard footsteps.

“Are you new or something… Timothy said as I raised my head.

“Damn harttway… He added taking a sit aside chuckled.

“You look really beautiful Tay… He said as i stated at him shocked.

“You’re acting different.

“Well what can I say.

“Right I can say something… I’m reality sorry… He said simply.

“I know I acted badly towards you because of Shawn,i know I treated you badly it’s unforgivable but I’m sorry… He said.

“You don’t have to say anything I only want you to think about it.

“I will… I said smiling.

“We’re gonna play seven minutes in heaven later you should come to the Walter’s room and join us.

“Mason invited me too.

“Right… He said smirking.

“Why do you say it like that.

“Apart from being extremely pretty I really need to know why he’s smitten with you.

“Oh you have it all wrong, he’s not in love with me.

“I’m a guy Taylor, I get other guys and take my word for it mason likes you… He said smirking.

“a$$ hole I’ve been waiting for you and you’re talking to another girl like seriously… Jenny said as I folded my hands.

“Yeah…Hes asking me out… I said smirking.

“Timothy!… Jenny exclaimed.

“Wait Taylor… She added jumping in fright.

“Oh God you look so..

“Different… Yes… But drop freaking dead gorgeous… She said as I remembered Mason’s words.

“I love the change… Like I really love it you look extremely pretty…

“Now for you let’s go… She said grabbing his arm.

“Think about what I said though… Timothy added as I nodded.

“And as for the other, take my word for it… He said as I rolled my eyes.

“Ptt… The alcohol must be getting to his head… Mason… Likes me that’s extremely absurd.

“Oh hey… Shawn said taking a sit beside me while I ignored him.

“Wanna dance… He said simply.

“Mitch’s over there..
I said pointing to another direction.

“But I wanna dance with you.

“Why.

“Dance with me and find out.

“I’m waiting for mason I can’t leave.

“Yeah mason.. I said rolling my eyes.

“He left you for Sasha..shawn said as I froze.

“I saw them a minute ago…

“Oh wow.. I said chuckling.

“Let’s dance then… I said as he took my hand to the dance floor.

“Wait where did that electrifying feeling that’s supposed to come…I asked confused.

We walked to the dancefloor as a song came on, he placed his hands on my waist while I slowly placed mine around his neck, we moved slowly to the song as I tried to avoid all form of eye contact.

“So why mason.

“Huh…

“Why mason… You two are dating.

“I thought you loved me… He said as i rolled my eyes.

“Common…do you… He repeated as I smirked.

“You suddenly have this interest in me because of my outfit..I said feeling weird.

“Obviously… He said as I stopped abruptly trying to leave.

“Can I cut in… Mason said as I removed my hands from his neck.

“No you may not… Shawn said his hands firmly on my waist.

“Hands off her we need to leave… Mason said.

“Shawn let go of me… I said harshly.

“Only because you asked.

“Let go of her.

“Come on let’s go… Mason said as Shawn let go of me leaving a slight pain on my waist.

“Mason… Please… Wait… I called out as he walked upstairs.

“Wait… I leave you for less than ten minutes and you rush back into his hands.

“Excuse you… You left me alone to meet up with Sasha.

“Sasha…i have no freaking idea where she is who told you that… He said as he stood above me.

“Wait you don’t know where Sasha is.

“I don’t… I left so I could personally warn the morons upstairs to stay away from you so you’ll feel comfortable… He said ask smiled softly.

“You did that for me.

“Of course I did… He said as I stood face to face with me.

“Come on let’s go… I said softly.

“I’m sorry for overreacting… Mason said lowly.

“I’m even more sorry… I said as we got upstairs.

“Welcome to the Walter’s room… He said as we got to a door.

“You ready.

“How’s it like inside.

“Let’s find out… He said twisting the knob as it opened up to reveal a bunch of high school girls and boys .

“Hey beautiful.. Jenny said as I smiled.

“Finally you’re here… Justin said referring to mason.

“I can’t blame you, she’s really pretty… Justin said as mason glared at him hard.

“So I hear we’re playing seven minutes in heaven… Mason said as I frowned.

“Maybe I should have asked Timothy what the game is about.

“He decided to join us… I heard Justin say as the door creaked open to reveal Mitch and Shawn.

“It’s pretty simply… The bottle is rolled and who ever the lid falls on has to pick who he wants to spend seven minutes with… Mason whispered close to me like he read my mind.

“Thanks… I whispered back smiling as Shawn and Mitch joined the circle.

“So Im done with all the alcohol we can use the bottle… Justin said placing it in the centre.

“You all know the rules… Let’s begin… He said rolling the bottle as it landed on a random guy.

I have to admit the game was kinda fun, since most people come out with chap lips or messy hair which was extremely gross, the bottle was spun last and it landed on Timothy who gracefully chose Jenny as she blushed, they came out with Timothy having lip gloss all over his neck and lips, no one needed a soothsayer to tell them what happened.
Now it was time for the bottle to be spun again as mason kept playing with my hair.
The bottle was spun and it landed on Shawn, the room fell silent.
Mitch adjusted her skirt and by adjusted I mean pulling it higher to show off her thighs, she smiled gracefully adjusting her makeup as everyone rolled their eyes.

“So Shawn which girl… Justin said as Mitch kept grinning.

“Seven minutes right.
.he said smirking.

“Yeah so choose.

“I choose… He said as Mitch stood up.

“Taylor… He said as she fell back using her butt to hit the floor.

“No… Mason said glaring at him.

“Pick someone else… He added.

“Justin I can pick anyone I want right.

“I’m sorry Mas but yeah… He said as mason glared.

“Good I pick Taylor.. Simple… He repeated as I turned speechless.
