I sigh as I stare up at the house before wiping off my tears and knocking at the door as I wipe my tears once again.

I still can’t believe what they had tried to do to me there and I still remember what they had all said to me.

They called me a unfortunate person because I’m dumb and I can’t talk.

I don’t know why this had happened to me. I don’t even know how long I haven’t heen able to talk.

I know nothing about myself and I don’t even know how long that I have been in this planet. I don’t know my age and I hate my life so much for it.

I hate the fact that I’m that one weird and strange person that everyone hates because I don’t belong here and I know it but there’s no other way to do it.

I won’t die so I will have to endure through the sufferings.

“Who is there?”

The gate guard asks from inside the house but I just knock on the door once again since I can’t reply his question anyways.

“Will you just keep it down there please? Who the hell is at the gate?”

He shouts and I bang on the door once again, my hand already hurting from the continuous banging.

Why wouldn’t he just open the door already.

Just when I’m about to bang on it once again, the small door is open and he peers to look at me before sighing and locking the door back then opening the bigger one for me to come in.

“It’s you Nino. You should have just said that you were the one at the gate.”

He smiles and I stare down at my feet, shifting uncomfortably between my legs.

“Oh that’s right. I totally forgot that you can’t say anything. Sorry about that, you should go inside. I wound have asked you to rather stay but there’s nothing that we can talk about since all you’re going to do is to just nod and watch me.”

He smiles and I try to hold back the tears as I nod at him and begin walking towards the direction of the house but not before I heard him say.

‘ I wonder where the hell the master had brought her from.’

He says and I wipe under my eyes before walking inside the house and knocking on the door again which is immediately opened by the maid. Mr Toll.

She’s a slightly old woman and I love her a lot because she’s the only one that ever regards me as someone and she is the only one that cares about me.

She shows me love as if she’s my family and she acts like my mother sometimes.

She’s the reason that I’m still here or I would have left a long time ago. Been kicked out by the madam.

“Oh Nino. I had a feeling that would be you. Come on in, the baby is in the room but madam isn’t at home so you’re the only one here together with Sarah.”

She says and I groan internally. Sarah is going to be here with me.

Oh how much that I dislike that girl. She’s always been so rude to me and I don’t blame her anyways, I’ve gotten used to everyone hating me for no reason.

I bow to ma’am who smiles at me and hugs me to herself.

“You don’t have to worry about anything, my dear. Everything will be fine pretty soon.”

She smiles at me and I nod before making my way towards the room only to hear some chattering from Sarah’s room and I walk towards the direction.

Peeping inside with the small space that’s still opened between the door, I can see her on the bed with her friends and they are squealing as they gaze at something.

I take my eyes to what they are looking at and it’s someone been displayed on TV and he has a mask across his face.

Who the hell is that?!

“What the hell do you think you’re doing right now?!”

A voice yells from behind me and my whole body trembles.
