Jennifer’s Pov
Argg it’s Thursday which means the party was tomorrow and yet I can’t find anything worthy enough to wear to the party I want all eyes to be on me and only me and none of these clothes are okay enough

I’m really frustrated and mad at xander right now first he promised to drop me off at school every day then he comes up with some lame excuse to get out of it I mean who chooses their best friend over their girlfriend

And that stunt she pulled by her locker won’t go unpunished the only reason why I didn’t retaliate was because Xander was near kierra who ever you are you have to learn either the easy way or the hard way that Xander Thompson is mine and right now I’ll take down anything or anyone who dares try to separate us so trying to attack me with water won’t do you any good…I thought as I kept rummaging through my closet

Groaning out in frustration since I had nothing else to wear I decided to head to the mall and go shopping then maybe stop to grab a snack before heading back home

My mum and dad were both workaholics by nature so I had maids at my very beck and call I even had my own personal driver to take me where ever I wanted but the only one I wanted to drive me was Xander and no one else

“Mall….I said simply to the driver getting in as he nodded his head in affirmation driving to our usual mall

Kierra’s Pov

I got over my shock seconds later shook my head and ran to the car not before leaving a note for mum and locking the door shut meeting an impatient Xander on the wheel before driving off to our favourite Ice-cream parlour

Apparently since I was obviously the last one to get in I would have to pay for both our snacks it seemed fair enough since Xander payed for my lunch today hence I had a little spare change to spend

“So Kierra what do you think of Jennifer… He said as I dropped my cup of ice cream facing him

“She’s beautiful I guess different from the test of them though

“You really think so

“Yeah she is she’s an okay person I guess

“What do you think of Seth… I said staring at him

“He’s an as***ole an idiot who deserves to be castrated a complete waste of time and frankly a dumb a$$ by nature… He said smirking

“Xanderr… I warned

“well you asked what I think of him right and that’s what I think of him period Kierra you asked why I hate him right well I’ll tell you then..

“Am I interrupting something… Jennifer said taking a sit beside Xander while forcing a smile

“Yes….i said inwardly

“Jennifer what are you doing here…Xander asked

“Oh I was around shopping and decided to grab some ice cream oh hi kierra…She said acting like she had just seen me

“Xander would you mind getting me a scoop of vanilla

“Umm I’ll be right back Kierra… He said as he stood up

“So fancy seeing the two of you here Huh…

“Yeah it’s kind of like our place… I said standing up to her

“Oh really now well I like it so Xander would bring me here every day now….

“What no you can’t do that… I said raising my voice

“It’s just an ice cream parlor kierra don’t get so worked up

“It’s not just an ice cream parlour Jennifer it’s special for just me and Xander

“Too bad then… She said smirking

“Oh and next time I really wouldn’t want you alone with my boyfriend… She said stressing the last part

“Here you go… Xander said sitting down

“Thanks boo… She said pecking his cheeks lightly

“This tastes amazing Xander could we go here all the time… She said as my heart beat increased

“OK sure I guess so… He said nonchalantly

“But it’s our special place you can’t do that… I nearly screamed in his face

“Just tell her no… I thought breaking down

“Take your words back… I nearly screamed out of pain

“Umm Xander I should get going… I said suddenly down

“OK I’ll drop you off then

“Alright can I tag along… Jennifer said grabbing her things

“if that’s okay with you of course… She added smiling

“Yeah let’s go… I said emotionless

 

All through the ride home I sincerely felt like the third feel in their midst as Jennifer made sure to bring up a conversation which would only benefit them both

I heaved a little sad sigh once when my house was in sight glad that I would finally have to leave this car and the both of them for good

The car came to a halt in front of my house and I got out immediately heading for the door muttering a quick goodbye to the both of them

I opened up the door with a gloomy look on my face but it disappeared as soon as it come when I caught sight of what was in front of me

Maxwell was freaking back he was back!!!

 

Usually I would rush to hug him really really tight but it seems like he was extremely busy making out with Maya on the couch

“Ahem ahem… I screamed as they both scurried away from each other before screaming really loud rushing to hug him really tightly

“What’s up little sis… He said hugging me back as Maya worked on her hair

“So you called her first Huh you bas***d…I said hitting him lightly

“When Were you planning on telling me you were back.. What I said hitting him

“I wanted it to be a surprise and guess what it’s for Good this time … He said as I screamed out loud hitting him

“Ouch you hit like a girl you know… He mocked

“I told her exactly the same thing… Xander said coming in grinning

“Xander my mannnnn… He said as they did a little bro hug

“Aren’t you suppose to drop your girlfriend off… I spat out feeling a bit jealous

“Girlfriend… Maxwell asked staring at me as I looked away

“Yeah long story I’ll explain later

“Oh Maya fancy meeting you hear… Xander said smirking as she blushed hard

“Xander what’s wrong why the screaming.. Jennifer said walking in

“OMG Maxwell… She screamed when she caught sight of him rushing back out immediately

“Jennifer wait… Max well said as he ran to the door but she was long gone already

“Umm what just happened… I asked curiously

“She looked like she saw a ghost… Maya added as Maxwell kept mute walking towards us

“Do you know Jennifer… Xander asked confused

“Yeah I know her… He said simply but something tells me they know each other more than what he gives out

“I’ll see you guys later I need to cool my head…He said rushing up the stairs as Maya looked confused as ever

“Girly I’ll get going…

“Maya don’t be sad I’m sure it’s nothing…I said trying to cheer her up

“Yeah it’s nothing… She added walking away

“And then thy were two… Xander said plopping on the couch

“Bird brain aren’t you at least curious why your girlfriend ran out in shock

“I am but I’m more curious why you’re so sad today …He said avoiding my question

“It’s nothing… I said looking away

“I know you remember just tell me…

“It’s just that the ice cream thing was for us okay and you let your girlfriend have it it hurts Xander… I said sincerely

“You should have just said something I would have said no

“How could I Xander she’s your girlfriend

“Yeah and you’re more important… He said as I looked up staring at him

“What did you just say… I asked once more

“I said you’re more…

“Goshh it’s pouring out that… Maya said rushing back in half drenched as I looked at the window noticing it was raining a heavily

“I’ll get you a blanket Maya You must be cold… I said rushing to her side

“Thanks girly… She muttered shaking a bit

 

“So we’re obviously stuck here and your parents won’t be coming any time soon… Xander said

“Geez thanks captain obvious I would not have guessed that.. I said sarcastically as he stuck his tongue out

“Umm we could watch a movie… Max said coming down the stairs as Maya stared at him still covered with the blanket

“Yeah let’s watch a movie but definitely not a romantic one horror suits this scene… Xander added

“Alright I’ll get the popcorn… I said grabbing Xander to the kitchen intentionally leaving Maya and max with some time to talk

 

The popcorn was ready although Xander made it a point to annoy me all through out or stay in the kitchen and by the time we were back with the bowl max and Maya were hugging near the couch

“Awwn… I cooed as she blushed sitting near him on the couch as I took a sit on the floor

“OK OK let’s watch then.. Max said smirking as I silently wondered what could have happened between him and Jennifer

 

“Arrgggh… Maya and I screamed for the umpteenth time

“If you guys as just gonna scream all through the movie I might as well change it

“Nooo… We chorused

“Baby… Xander mocked as took a sit near me on the floor

“Shut it Thompson… I said hitting him hard

“Let’s just finish the movie… Maya said as we went back to the movie

 

The lights kept on shaking which was making this seem like and actual horror movie and to top it all off Xander was making really creepy sounds near me every second

“Argggg… I screamed as the light went off jumping off the floor and the popcorn splattered all over

“Arggggggggggggggggg…. I shouted as the movie made a really creepy sound coupled with the lighting strikes while it was pitch black as I rushed to grabb the closet pair of hands close to me

“Awwwwnnn…max and Maya cooed when the lights came back on as I stared at the position we were in

Turns out the pair of hands were no longer than Xander Thompson and I was straddling him completely,i tried to get out of the position but it only made it worse as his hands involuntarily moved to my waists and mine placed on his shoulders still on the floor blushing crimson red as Maya and max cooed even more
