CHAPTER 7
Ayesha and Kade were going through some files that just came into the company in her office when Aysh phone started ringing,seeing it was her father calling she gave the phone to Kade to pick for her and tell her father she was not in. Kade spoke with him for some minutes before she finally ended the call.
“What did he say?” She asked Kade.
“He said you’re going to have dinner with Gage Anderson tonight” Kade replied.
“Where?” Aysh asked annoyingly.
“At your house”
“Let’s continue, I have a lot to do not thinking of one stupid dinner” She said as she continued what she was doing. “What’s on Pluto schedule today?” She suddenly asked.
“You mean the dog?” Kade asked surprised while Aysh gave him a glare. “I didn’t know he had a schedule.”
“So for the past three weeks you’ve been working here you don’t know pluto have a schedule?”
“No. Not at all”
“Get me Martha” Two minutes later Kade walked in with Martha. “What is on Pluto schedule today?” Ayesha asked.
“He’s having a sleep over at one of Mrs Chairman friends place” Martha replied.
“So why didn’t you give it back to Kade?”
“I thought it wasn’t necessary”
“Hand over everything Josh gave you to Kade,it’s his job now”
“Okay ma’am” Martha said giving the schedule list to Kade.
“Get the address from Martha and take Pluto there” Ayesha said to Kade while they, he and Martha moved out of the office to take Pluto that was at the lounge to the sleep over.
As he was going he decided to meet Mr Moon so he gave him a call to meet him at a particular place. Mr Moon got there he just opened the front door and got in,he was suprised when he noticed a dog in the review mirror.
“What’s that? I never knew you started liking dogs.” Mr Moon said scared to the bone.
“Oh, Pluto is harmless” Kabir said. “So how’s everything going on?” He asked.
“Not too well. Your parent are worried sick about you. They said they tried calling you but it isn’t going through,i think you should visit them”
“I will do that. What of the shareholders?”
“They are real pains in the neck. They all want to know where you are,they thought you’ve run away”
“Those bastards” Kabir muttered. “Mr Moon,i just came up with an idea.”
“Really? What’s that?”
“Aysh wishes to invest in a new upcoming company”
“So what do you think we should do?” Mr Moon asked.
“We’re going to create a company that doesn’t exist”
“What?!!!” Mr Moon asked surprised.
“That is what we’re going to do,so anything she invests in the company will be going to DAL’S COOPERATION,we will turn everything to shares. When i’m cotented with everything the Chairman and the company will dissappear into thin air” Kabir explained.
“Including the shares?”
“Yes”
“That’s very thoughtful of you. But what if she involves the police?”
“She can’t,she doesn’t like anything relating to the police,press and so on”
“That’s good. So who will be the Chairman and what will be the name of the company? You know we can’t trust anyone” Mr Moon said.
“K&D Group and you’re going to be the chairman”
“Me?”
“Yes. You are going to have your name changed to Mr Fallon,so you have to act fast. Make a fake identity card and all those stuffs”
“Okay” Mr Moon said.
“So i think everything is in good shape now,i have to drop this dog off” Kabir said as Mr Moon alighted from the car.
When Aysh was done with everything at the office,she asked Kade to drive her to the salon. Kade continue to remind her about the dinner with Gage but she refused saying she would go anytime she felt like.
After her treatments in the salon she decided to go home while Kade drove her. When they got to her mansion parking lot she asked Kade to follow her in which he reluctantly agreed to. As they got to the living room they saw Jasper.
“Hi Jasper” She greeted trying to avoid him.
“Miss Sherman you’re late for your dinner” Jasper said to her.
“I went to my salon” Aysh said dragging Kade with her to the dinning room where Ford,Betty and Gage were patiently waiting for her.
“Aysh, you’re late for this dinner” Betty said.
“Sorry mum i went for an appointment” Aysh said. “So you’re Gage?” Aysh said turning to face Gage.
“Yes” Gage replied huskily.
Well he was handsome but not up to her expectations. “I have something to say” She said inserting her arms into Kade’s arm catching him off guard. “This is my fiance so i will like you to look for another woman” Aysh said refering to Kade as her fiance. Kade stood there confused. He didn’t know what to do. He was too shocked.
“Mum,dad you can’t believe i had my first kiss with Kade today” She said turning to her parent. “He’s really a nice guy,i hope you like him” Aysh concluded dragging Kade away.
“Gage don’t be annoyed with her,she can be like that sometimes” Ford pleaded with Gage.
“Despite her being like that i’m afraid to say that i still like her” Gage said. “Don’t worry i will speak with her. Betty please see Gage off” He said to his wife as he took his leave to search for Aysh.
“Are you crazy,why did you do that?” Kade asked when they finally stopped in a place that looks like a visiting room.
“What?!! Can’t i use you for anything i like since you’re working under me” Aysh said.
“Oh come on Aysh,that guy is your future husband,how do you expect me to be in front of him?”
“Really Kade i don’t want to marry him”
“Then why must you involve me in your mess? What do you expect your parent to think of me?” Just then he noticed Ford coming into the room. Ayesha hadn’t noticed her father so Kade thought this as an opportunity to clear himself. He dragged Aysh to himself by her waist making an attempt to kiss her.
She thought he was insane,she tried to push him away with her hand but he grabbed her tighter,all this while Ford was watching the drama going on between them.
“What the hell are you doing Kade?” She asked angrily
“Didn’t you say you enjoyed our previous kiss,let’s do it again” Kade said pretending.
“Are you crazy? What previous kiss? I can never kiss you just let go of me” Aysh said struggling with him. Kade released her and faced Ford. “Please sir,i want you to believe that i and your daughter have never kissed not to talk of being in a relationship” Kade explained.
Aysh who had not noticed her father spun around,she was so scared when she saw her father. “Dad,when did you get here?” She asked.
“Meet me in my room” Ford said to her.
“How could you do that?” Aysh asked when her father left the room.
“I had to” kade said leaving her in the room.
Actually holding her had been a good thing for him,it felt good and she was really beautiful. she even fitted in his arms. As he was heading out of the mansion he bumped into Betty.
“You,how could you ordinary personal assistant be in a relationship with your boss?” Betty said.
“Ma’am please don’t get me wrong”
“All i know is that don’t ruin my daughter’s chances of being the wife of a wealthy and powerful family or else i’m afraid i will have to take you out myself” Betty concluded as she left Kade.
“Why did you do that to your P.A? Do you know what the Anderson’s are capable of doing to him? His life might be at stake” Ford said to Aysh when she finally joined him in his room.
“My life might also be at stake dad,i don’t want to marry that guy. I don’t love him” Aysh said pleadingly.
“If you like it or not Aysh,i already agreed to that marriage and i can’t go back on my word”
“Can’t you disagree? I know it’s something you can do. Just do this for me”
“Aysh,i’m done with this conversation” Ford said trying to end their conversation.
“Well i’m not done” Aysh said.
“Aysh please i want to sleep now” Ford said pulling the covers of the big bed.
“I guess your father is through with you so leave us alone to sleep” Betty said entering the room.
“Mum i don’t want to marry that guy” Aysh said facing her mother.
“I’m afraid you have to” Betty said pecking her daughter goodnight.
Aysh just left the room angry,she knew it was not going to be easy persuading her parent.
