MY UNDERCOVER P.A?
CHAPTER 2?
“Fire him” Ayesha said as she was going through a pile of files in her office. Her P.A was reading the list of the worker and their faults. This was the fifth person he had mentioned and he still add five more to go. Indeed, he was tired of her, she’s too saucy and bossy. But he can’t just leave this job and couldn’t talk back to her. Ford Sherman was not like this, to tell the truth, he was strict but not to this extent.
“In the AYSH HOTELS, the head of the cooking team has been complaining about not getting enough__” he was cut short by Ayesha “Fire her. I hate complainants.” Ayesha said, not looking up. “How many do we have left?” she asked.
“Four” Her P.A replied.
“Fire them all. And i mean with immediate effect” She said not still looking up.
“Miss Sherman,within two months you’ve been here,you have fired nineteen workers. I’m afraid you will fire all our workers” He said.
“There are a lot of youths out there seeking for jobs,i’m just trying to get for them,so put up vacancies for the empty gaps” Ayesha said.
“Miss Sherman,but i suggest we should just__” He was cut short by the buzzing of her intercom.
“Miss Sherman,Pluto is here” The voice of the receptionist buzzed out of the intercom.
“Send him in”
Pluto walked in,wagging his tail. He went straight to sit across Aysh on the office chair.
“Hi Pluto,how was your exercise today?”Aysh asked Pluto,not expecting an answer.
“Miss Sherman,It’s time for your meeting with the managing directors and they are already waiting” Her P.A informed her.
“I know” She replied “I want to take Pluto along but he is not looking too well. Take him to the Vet and bring him back to the house after the appointment. I will go to the meeting alone.” Aysh said.
She packed all the neccessary documents she needed for the meeting and headed out of the office to the boardroom.
Managing directors were mumbling before she got to the boardroom but immediately she entered,there was total silence. She walked over to her seat and sat down while all the managing directors waited for her to start her speech.
“Managing director of AYSH Hotels,who is she?”Aysh started in an arrogant tone.
“Yes” A woman in her mid thirties raised up her hand.
“It’s you? I’ve been hearing our customers complaining about the hospitality. What are you doing to it?” She asked rudely not expecting an answer. “I will be coming over next week for inspections and if things are not in place,i’m afraid you will be fired” She said.
There were mumbles between the directors. It was obvious they didn’t like her. They were just trying to keep up with her because of her father.
“AYSH Jewelries. I heard there is no more output of necklaces and earrings. I want explanations.”
“Actually there is no more gold in the company anymore” The man in charge of the jewelries replied.
“Then order for it. Give a call to our supplier in Indian and ask for it.” She said. “Actually i don’t know what is wrong with all of you. DAL’S COOPERATION was our rival,now that we’ve successfully taken over almost all thier shares you all are no more active” She continued. “I also got a call from our cookwares customers,they were complaining the side plates are breaking. The person in charge of AYSH Cookwares should take note of that”
Aysh went on talking about AYSH GROUP faults and also where they should make corrections. She rounded up the meeting and left all the directors in the boardroom. That was when she noticed it was already dark,she left te company and went straight home.
As she drove to the parking lot the family valet went over to collect her car keys. When she got into the house one of the maids came to collect her bag. “Is Pluto back?” She asked the maid.
“No ma” The maid replied.
“What do you mean by ‘no’. This is 9P.m and you’re telling me Pluto is not back?” She asked already getting annoyed.
“Nobody brought Pluto here” The maid replied.
“Damn. What of mum?”
“She left for a party”
“Dad?”
“He is up in his room,sleeping”
“Give me my phone,go drop my bag in my dressing room.” She said as she took her phone from the maid and started dialing her P.A’s number which wasn’t going through. Then she passed a call across to the vetenarian who was in charge of Pluto’s health.
“Hello ma’am” The vet said from the other end of the line
“Hello doc. I was wondering if Pluto is there with you?”
“No ma’am. He left some hours ago”
“What?!!He left?Alone?”
“Yes” He replied.
“What of the man who brought him?”
“He left immediately he dropped him”
“So he left? To where?” She asked again
“I can’t say ma’am” The doc said already getting irritated.
“Okay,thank you very much” She appreciated ending the call. The door bell started ringing so she went over to open the door since no maid was in sight to do it. As she opened it she met the valet and Pluto. “Pluto!!!” She exclaimed as she bent down to examine the dog. But it was not hurt.
“I guess he came home by himself” The valet said.
“I know. I’m going to fire that stupid P.A tomorrow” She said to herself
“Yes” The valet said thinking she was refering to him.
“It’s not you. Thanks for bringing him here” She said as she led Pluto into the house and slammed the door on the valet face. The maid who took her bag in came back into the living room. “Take Pluto to his room and put himto bed i can’t do that tonight,i’m tired and need to go to bed” She said handing Pluto over to the maid.
After taking her shower,she slipped into her flowery night dress before diving into bed. She just realized working in a company is not an easy task. She was very tired from the day’s work.

The next morning,Ayesha walked down the stairs to the dinning in her purple mini gown and her high heels with a purple purse. Pluto was trailing at her back as she was shashaying down the stairs. Ford and Betty were having thier breakfast in silence. She went over to peck her dad then she went over to her seat on the dinning table.
“Good morning mom and dad” She greeted.
“Good morning my princess” Ford answered
“Mum,why aren’t you answering me?” She aske her mother.
“Why didn’t you peck me?” Betty asked.
“You weren’t home yesternight mum” Ayesha asked with an hint of command in her tone.
“And who are you to tell me where i’m meant to be at a point in time” Betty asked.
“Betty,she’s right about what she said” Ford said to his wife.
“Ford,please don’t interfere,this is between me and my daughter”
“She’s also my daughter,okay? My heiress” Ford said getting annoyed.
“Mum!!Dad!! It’s okay” Aysh shouted while Betty and Ford kept quiet immediately.
“You didn’t even ask about my day at work yesterday” Aysh said.
“How was your day Princess” Ford asked.
“It was fine” She answered downcasted.
They continued thier breakfast in silence. Ayesha was used to her parents quarelling on things that are not important. They had thier differences.
She only ate little out of her breakfast and stood up to leave. “I will leave first” She announced. “Pluto come on” She motioned to her dog as they both left the dinning room.

“I thought you said i have fired 19 workers in AYSH GROUP?” Aysh asked her P.A as she got to her office that next day. Pluto was on her laps as she was playing with him.
“Yes ma’am” He replied.
“I plan on making it twenty today” She said looking directly into the P.A’s eyes.
“Who is it today ma’am?” He asked.
“Josh Kenton” Ayesha said.
“I guess you’re mistaken ma’am” Her P.A said.
“No,am not. I want you to fire him and i want you to print his letter immediately.”
“Ma’am…..that’s my name. What have i done? Why do you want to fire him all of a sudden?” Josh asked continously.
“If you want answers,you will answer mine.”
“Whatever the question is i’m ready to answer to it” Josh said.
“Why did you leave Pluto at the vet place? Pluto walked home from the vet’s on his own. What if he was engaged in an accident? Or he doesn’t know how to get home by himself,what are you going to do then?” Aysh asked.
“So you want to fire me because of a mere dog?” Josh asked angrily.
Ayesha was annoyed about that statement. Pluto was her best friend,how could a mere P.A call her bestie a mere dog. She stood up and walked over to Josh.
“Well, that mere dog just determined your job. So get yourslf fired and leave my company.” Aysh fired at her P.A.
Josh stomped out of his office and slammed the door at his back.
