Taylor’s Pov
My mind was made up tomorrow at the party I was gonna attend,i wouldn’t get dressed like I usually do, I was gonna be daring and actually try one of those crop tops in my closet.
I walked out of the rest room heading for class since I couldn’t wait for tomorrow as well as the look on everyone’s faces when I do it.

By the time I walked into class everyone was busy doing on thing or another oblivious of my presence until the teacher walked in.

“I so can’t wait for tomorrow… I said our loud as the lecture began.

 

Classes were over and the rest went past quickly until I had sports in the yard which was the final class then I could head home to rest till tomorrow, opening my locker as I brought out my gym clothes before changing into them in the rest room, I sighted Jenny taking hers while smiling at me.

“You still have to tell me you know.

“I know I’ll tell you.. She said before slamming her locker whilst I walked to the yard.

I heard cheering from inside as I creaked the door open wondering why everyone was so happy or was class cancelled?

I gasped the minute I saw what was going on mason and Shawn were arm wresting and it seems like Shawn was winning, the girls kept drooling at both of them as they flexed their muscles and abs, Sasha kept cheering for mason while I stood rooted to the ground watching how it all plays out, I slipped on a ball, gaining unwanted attention thankfully not falling to the ground but most eyes were on me Shawn’s and masons included but the strange thing was that mason didn’t take his eyes off me as he continued arm wrestling with Shawn, Shawn was at the brink of pulling his arms to his side yet mason kept staring at me, I dared not look away, in a split second Shawn’s arm was pulled over to masons side as everyone cheered even more, Sasha gave him a quick peck giggling instead he kept staring at me, I broke away from his gaze walking towards the field.

“That was really great one… The teacher said.

“Mason… Congratulations… He said while mason smiled.

“So I really don’t expect the girls to do any of that. He said as we chuckled.

“So I have something planned for you girls.

“who says basketball was for guys only… He said as we groaned.

“Noooo… We chorused when he brought his whistle out blowing it loudly.

 

He divided us into teams of two, Jenny on my team likewise Sasha and mitch on the other team as the game began, the guys cheered for us at the same time bench while we played on the court, thankfully our team was leading by a point as the game drew to an end, Sasha had the ball and it looked like she was about to earn us another point running towards the net, but instead before I could say Jackson I got a ball to the face as I fell to the ground.

“Taylor!…. Jenny exclaimed rushing to my side.

“Are you okay… She said as I held my head in pain.

“Taylor Taylor are you okay.. Mason said as Jenny moved away.

“I held my head not uttering a word as Sasha bent down close to me.

“I’m so so sorry I didn’t mean it… She said trying to act innocent.

“You didn’t mean it… Mason barked at her.

“What if she got really hurt huh, what if she has severe head injury because of you and you didn’t fricking mean it, the next time you wanna throw a ball make sure you have good aim… He said as the girls laughed.

“But mason you’re talking bad at me because of her.

“Yes because of my girlfriend… He says as I smiled using my hand to cover my face

“But we kissed.

“It meant nothing… He said smirking.

“No no you can’t do this to me.

“News flash dearie I just did…

“Arggg… She screamed running off as I chuckled lightly.

“Miss harttway are you okay… The teacher said as Jenny stood by him.

“It hurts a bit… I said truthfully.

“Umm I’ll get someone to take you to the nurses office I’m really sorry about what happened sasha will be punished… He said as I nodded.

“If it’s alright sir I’ll take her… Mason said as I looked at him.

“That’ll be great thanks alot… He said as mason nodded.

“Come on… He said bending down.

“Umm what are you doing. .

“What does it look like… He said smirking.

“I can walk you know.

“I know but I’ll much prefer to carry you.. He said of picking me up without my approval.

“Let me down mason… I groaned weakly.

“Okay just as soon as we get to the nurses office… Careful with your head… He said as we walked out of the gym.

“a$$ hole… I cursed while he chuckled.

 

The nurse said I simply had a slight concussion and with some rest I’ll be fine, on the up side I’ll get to skip the rest of class laying on this bed.

“Are you sure you’re okay… Mason asked for the umpteenth time.

“Yes mason… I said rolling my eyes sudden remembering something.

“Who took that picture of you both kissing.

“Ian… He said simply.

“Oh wow.

“Yeah… He said as I turned away.

“I won’t do anything with her again, we’ll find Another way… He said as I faced him.

“You’re joking right.

“I’m dead serious.

“But why.

“I can’t anymore.

“Ohh OK… I said turning away again.

“What’s wrong.

“Nothing I just recalled something.

“Which was.

“Nothing…

“Come on tell me.

“Its just you called her dearie…I said glaring.

“I did.

“Yes you called her my nickname.

“Wait… Are you jealous.

“Yes… I said raising my voice.

“Well it’s my nickname… I added lowly.

“It is and I’m extremely sorry for daring to call another that.

“Promise you won’t do it again.

“Cross my heart… He said as u chuckled.

“You should really rest your head.

“Alright…

“But wait…

“How would you like to be my date to the party tomorrow, no trying to grab Shawn’s attention no faking just a normal date at the party.

“Did he just… My subconscious gasped.

“He didn’t… Little me added.

“Shh you… I said out loud.

“Umm I’m sorry if I offended you.

“No if course not I wasn’t referring to you.

“Huh

“I meant shh me.

“I meant shh little me.

“I sounds crazy… I meant I love to be your date tomorrow.

“That’s all I needed to hear… He said smiling as he walked out.

“My first actual date with my first actual real clothes…. Yipeee… I can’t wait for tomorrow… I thought laying on the bed getting some test.

 

I groaned standing up feeling better as the pain in my head had greatly reduced, I could even stand up properly now as I looked at my watch, the bell was rung five minutes ago and they should be here any time now.

“Hey… Mason said walking in.

“I really gat to ask how do you do it.

“Do what… He said looking confused.

“Always come when I need you, right on cue… I said shrugging.

“It’s a talent… He said winking.

“You ready?… I told your brother you can’t walk home.

“OMG you told him about the concussion I’m so dead.

“Of course I didn’t I told him we’re taking a walk.

“Thank heavens… I said heaving a sigh of relief.

“I grabbed your stuff they’re in Jenny car since my bike is still pretty bashed up.

“Oh thank you… I said getting up strained.

“No no you can’t walk on your own.

“But there are people outside this isn’t like when everyone was in class, you can’t carry me.

“Can’t I.. He said as I rolled my eyes.

“Come on Taylor how else are we gonna let them know that kiss was a mistake and we are definitely getting bag together… He said and for some strange reason my heart warmed up

“Alright… I said slowly as he picked me up and unlike earlier I stared deeply into his eyes mesmerized by them.

“Now I have to ask how you do it.

“Do what… I said absentmindedly.

“Pretend you don’t see how beautiful you are without even trying… He said as I blushed hard.

“So cute when you blush… He added as I blushed even harder.

“Let’s go.. He said walking towards the door while I helped him open it.

At the hall way, many looked really surprised some even took pictures others drooled as I’m pretty sure they were dying to be in my position, Mitch glared at me as sasha looked like she could murder me where I stood, deciding to really give them a show, I placed both my hands around mason’s neck pecking him lightly before resting on his shoulders as our newly found audience cooed.

“You’re really crazy.

“Yes I am… I said as we both chuckled

“Took you both really long enough… Jenny said as he placed me in her car.

“Thanks mason… I said smiling.

“Anything… He answered carefully closing the door.

“Seriously he kissed Sasha and you forgive him just like that.

“I’m not sure myself but he has a way with his thing, maybe it’s his eyes, or his glorious abs or his perfectly shaped face and don’t get me started on that jaw line.

“Hey… I have a no drooling policy in my car… She said starting the engine.

“Okay spill… I said as she drove off.

 

“What do you wanna know.

“Everything because I know there’s something between you and Timothy and you have to tell me why you were blushing at lunch.

“Alright like I said we are similar when it comes to the TIMS, I was once like you I worshipped Timothy I begged him to love me,i saw no wrong in what he did until he tried to rape me… She said as I gasped.

“He what.

“Maybe he was drunk or whatever I really don’t care but he tried to force his way on me so it turned to hatred for him until today.

“What happened today

“Nothing much it might not mean anything but he gave me flowers and apologized for that night on his knees… She said as I cooed.

“Where…

“Classroom.

“He waited until everyone was gone and then he apologized it was kinda sweet that’s why I was blushing… She said getting close to house.

“That’s so sweet… I cooed once more.

“Don’t get so excited it doesn’t mean much.

“If you say so…

“So are you coming to the party tomorrow.

“You bet I am… I said smirking.

“Why do you say it like that.

“Oh nothing… I said trying to conceal my smile.

“You’re hiding something.

“I am But its a surprise I promise you’ll know tomorrow.

“Alright see you then… She said pulling over at my house.

“Bye Jenny… I said getting out of the car.

“Can someone borrow me a time machine or something because I cannot wait for tomorrow… I thought rushing inside to get my clothes ready .

“It’s gonna be a really long Friday night tomorrow…
