Taylor’s Pov
Excuse me!

“What did you just say… I said unable to believe what I heard.

“Umm… I… Umm… What… I… Meant… To… Say… Was… He stuttered as I stared at him.

“Alright alright you dumb a$$.. Jenny said walking down the stairs as he ran his hands through his hair.

“Here… Come on Taylor I think I’m almost done with the project anyways…Jenny said as mason walked away.

“Bye Taylor…

“Good bye mason… I said waving feeling all weird suddenly.

 

“So the project is mathematics based right and we wanna go green… Jenny said as I sat down.

“So I think we should figure out how to design the perfect machine using those geometric stuff.

“Yeah that sounds great… I said smiling.

“So then let’s get to work… She said as I moved closer although my mind wasn’t on what we were doing but on mason Kendal.

 

I have to say I was really impressed with our work by the time we were done, not to brag but it was amazing and should be one of the best in the class.

“I guess we’re ready then.. Jenny said grinning.

“Yeah we are… I said staring at our design.

“So I think we should celebrate first I’ll keep this in a safe location for tomorrow and we head out and grab some drinks how those that sound… She said as I nodded walking out of her room.

“Do you have any where in mind… She said jingling her keys.

“There’s a nice ice cream corner around the parlour… I said.

“Alright let’s go then I’ll drop you home afterwards.

“Sounds like a plan.

 

Jenny was really fun to be with, we sang along to a song in the car laughed at each other’s jokes I had a great time before we arrived at the parlour as she pulled over.

“So what’s your favourite flavour.

“chocolate duh… I said as she giggled.

“vanilla is the best.

“try chocolate baby girl your life would never remain same.

“Oh really let’s make a deal.

“I’ll try your dirty chocolate and you try my heavenly vanilla .

“What’s the catch.

“Who ever likes the other person’s favorite flavour more had to present first during our presentation tomorrow… She said smiling.

“Alright you have a deal… I said as we walked in smiling.

“One scoop of vanilla and chocolate please… She said as he prepared it handing it over to us.

“No pretending okay… She said as we both took a scoop out of the ice-cream.

“Disgusting… I spat out.

“I hate it… She said looking grossed out.

“You know what let’s just switch ice-cream and enjoy out favourite flavour… She said as I nodded taking her cup giving her mine.

“Heaven… I moaned licking my ice-cream as we took a sit.

“I’m never taking another flavour again… Jenny said as I chuckled with ice-cream on my face.

” What’s wrong.. I said noticing she dropped her spoon as her countenance changed.

“Jenny what’s wrong.

“Umm we should get going… She said finishing her ice-cream as I looked behind me.

“Is that….

“Timothy and his new fling… You bet ya… She said rolling her eyes finishing her ice-cream totally.

“Wait in thought you hated the TIMS.

“Yeah I do… She said shrugging.

“Then why does it seem like you’re in love with Timothy.

“I’m not let’s just go… She said taking her last scoop standing up.

” Oh really it really seems like you are.

“I’m not Taylor let’s go! … she exclaimed walking away.

“Something is definitely fishy… I thought running after her as we got into her car.

“Never speak of this again… She warned starting her engine.

“Okay… I said smirking.

“Right after I speak of it tomorrow… I thought giggling.

 

She dropped me at my doorstep as I stepped out of her car.

“See you at school…I said waving at her.

“Umm… Taylor… I’m sorry about earlier… She said.

“Did you just say sorry… I said grinning.

“Ugh never speak of that either… She groaned while I nodded.

“Bye Jenny just so you know, I had fun.

“Me too… She grinned driving off while I walked inside.

“She has no idea I promise… I heard Collins say as I walked in.

“No mason if she finds out anything she’ll ki*ll both of us.

“Damn right I will… I screamed as she gasped dropping his phone.

“Hello… Collins… I heard Mason’s voice say as I picked the voice.

“Hello mason… I said gritting my teeth as Collins cowered in fear.

“Umm… Taylor…i was just getting to know your brother.

“Yeah right you were…I wonder what else you’re hiding from me huh… I said raising my voice.

“Taylor its not what it seems.

“Then enlighten me… I said as he sighed.

“Collins and I know each other yeah and I’ll admit I asked him some things about you like what you like, dislikes and I drove you home that day that’s all Taylor.

“You really want me to believe that he lied to me that he doesnt know you.

“I told him not to tell you about it

“Oh so I don’t have a right to know that you two were talking about me behind my back…

“That’s so not it Taylor.

“Of course it is thanks alot mason… I said hanging up.

“Here… I said handing it to Collins.

“Taylor it’s not…

“Don’t… You’re suppose to be my brother what the hell happened to no secrets… I said scoffing running upstairs into my room.

I slammed the door shut so I wouldn’t get disturbed by anyone right now I really feel so frustrated, he was suppose to be my brother and yet he went behind my back to talk with mason about God knows what and it’s fricking annoying they’re both so gonna get it.
I carefully took of my clothes admiring my appearance in the mirror as the temptation to try on a different outfit hit me hard.
Maybe just a jump suit tomorrow since we have sports.

“It’ll draw attention to yourself… My subconscious added as I nodded.

“Yeah that’s the least I really wanna do… I thought taking it off completely.

“I think I’ll stick to my usual dressing but maybe I will try one,just maybe..i thought before getting into bed.

 

I blinked my eyes rapidly seeing it was evening, I might as well grab dinner then.
I grabbed an evening outfit as I placed it in quickly wearing my flip flops since it was pretty chilly before unlocking my door as I walked down the stairs.

“Hey mom hi dad… I said as they smiled while Collins stared at me.

“You look really tired dear is something wrong.

“Nothing mum I do have a presentation tomorrow I guess I just need to eat and get some rest.

“Alright then let’s eat… Dad said as I grabbed a plate taking my food as Collins kept staring at me.

“Good night my… I said after washing my plate in the sink.

“Taylor wait please… Collins said as I quickened my steps heading for my room.

“Taylor I know you’re mad… He said as my hands froze on the handle.

“But I assure you we never meant to keep it a secret from you.

“Yeah right… I said my voice filled with sarcasm .

“Please promise me you’ll hear him out.

“No promises.

“You owe me one please at least hear him out, you might not forgive me but at least hear him out… He said as I sighed.

“Just because I owe you one but that doesn’t mean I ain’t disappointed in you both… I said creaking the door open as I slipped in.

“Tomorrow gonna be a great day… I thought getting into bed too tired to freshen up.

 

The early morning sun rays hit my window hard as I opened my eyes slowly closing them back as I thought of how complicated the day would be.
Well as always I just need to get through one more day of pretending that’s all.

“What about mason… My subconscious said as I hissed.

“We’ll just see won’t we… I thought getting out of bed grabbing my JBL.

“Time for an old truck… I said out loud playing my favourite song.

Oh she’s sweet but a physco…i said out loud dancing downstairs.

So left but she’s right though.

Grab a cop gun kinda crazy… I shouted at the foot if the stairs.

She’s poison but tasty.

“We’re up we’re up… Mum said as I chuckled.

“Took y’all long enough.. I said smiling as Collins walked downstairs.

“I’ll go freshen up,need to get ready for my presentation don’t wait for me… I said still mad at Collins heading to my bathroom.

Getting out of the bathroom as I tied my towel properly staring at my closet taking out the jump suit as I placed it on the bed.

“I dare you… My subconscious said giggling.

“I know I can’t… I said taking it back it replacing it with my normal gowns.

“School here I come… I thought grabbing my things as I carefully shut my door.

I walked down the stairs noticing Collins was still on the floor dinning table,i took a quick glance at him before shrugging.

“Bye mum see you later dad… I said walking out of the house jogging to school.

 

the minute I walked inside the premises I was thankful that the TIMS hasn’t yet arrived so just like mason was avoiding me I was gonna avoid him too.

“Hey you… He said as I jumped in fright.

“How did you…

“But your bike…

“The others aren’t even…

“How did I get to school well I woke up early… He said chuckling.

“My bike it broke down again so I didn’t use it today.

“And the others they’ll understand… Mason said as I glared.

“But you always come in together.

“Not today.

“Why.

“Because talking to you is obviously more important.

“Very funny… I said walking away.

“Please you have to hear me out.

“Actually I don’t.

“Maybe this would change your mind..

“Cookies… I said jumping up.

“You got me cookies… I said reaching out for them.

“Chocolate cookies a little birdie told me they’re your favorite.

“Collins.

“Nope… Jenny.

“Ohhh

“I’ll give you if you agree to talk to me.

“Okay… I said grabbing them.

“Only for the cookies though..
I said munching on one.

“Yeah okay… He said chuckling as we walked to the lab.

 

“So what do you wanna tell me.

“Firstly I just wanna say I’m sorry about what we did.

“Yeah yeah I’m over that anyways.

“I know you’re not.

“Yeah I’m not… I said as he chuckled.

“Well my issues can actually wait right now there’s something more important.

“Oh really what… I said taking a bite out of the cookies.

“I need to kiss you… He said as time froze.
