Taylor’s Pov
I’ve lost him!
Even when we just met he never ever once spoke to me in that manner so void , emotionless,so coldly like we were strangers for a minute there he treated me exactly like Shawn does.

“What did you mean… Jenny said taking a sit besides me.

“I don’t know but I have this feeling mason and I just lost our touch… I said truthfully.

“It’ll be just fine I’m sure he just needs rest he’ll be back by tomorrow that’s for sure… She says as I forced a small smile.

“What if he doesn’t… I said lowly.

“He will Taylor.

“But what if he doesn’t… I said standing up.

“He….

“I just have this feeling that I’ve lost him and maybe I have… I said groaning.

“Taylor at least calm down.

“I cant it’s making me crazy…

“At least just rest a little.. She said slowly.

“Maybe I should… I said sighing.

“I’ll drop you off, meet me by my car… She said before walking out.

I headed straight to my locker to get some books so I could read ahead since I skipped all my classes today, it’s like an important part of me is gone his voice was so different from his usual husky voice so cold and so dry.

“What did I do… I thought slamming my locker.

“Heyy… Shawn said as I turned to glare at him.

“I really don’t have time for this Shawn.. I said coldly as I tried to walk away instead he grabbed me by my arm pulling me to himself.

“Let go me… I screamed as he tightened his grip.

“Nahh I think I’ll keep this hold right here.. He said slamming me against my locker.

“Let go of me Shawn… I screamed.

“Nope… He said leaning closer to me.

“I actually wanna know how those lips would taste like… He says as I gasped while he sucked on his lower lip.

“You’re an idiot a moron now let go off me… I screamed as he cackled.

“After a kiss… He said.

“No… I answered firmly.

“Wow such a romantic moment… Mason said as I turned to glance at him.

“Mason it’s totally not what it..

“Yeah I think I’ve heard that line… Oh… I think that’s the same thing Sasha said right after I caught you two making out right… He said referring to Shawn.

“It never mattered if the girl was In a relationship right what the Shawn wants he gets and you’re no different Taylor, you love him right well have fun… He said glaring at the both of us walking away.

“Mason wait… I screamed stomping Shawn’s feet as I ran after him.

“That was great acting right… He said as I froze completely trying to comprehend what he meant.

“I’m lost.

“I said we’ll talk strategy tomorrow but you already came up with a perfect one today,i played my part great right… He said as my eyes widened.

“So you mean all what you said,you didn’t mean it,it was acting… I said staring at him.

“Yep, it’s working I think Shawn is actually beginning to like you… He said smiling.

“Why do I feel like it isn’t genuine.

“Mason…

“We’ll talk tomorrow Taylor I really have to go now…bye… He said coldly walking away as I slapped myself hoping I was still sleeping and mason wasn’t this cold to me.

 

I walked like a zombie hoping Jenny was still waiting for him else I would have to walk home and I’ll probably get hit by a car since my mind was lost right now.

“Heyyy could you hurry up… Jenny said honking at me.

I walked silently getting into the car not saying a word to her as she stared at me confused, nevertheless she started the engine deciding not to ask questions as she drove me home while I gave her directions using my hands.

I managed to wave her goodbye still not saying a word as I creaked open my door getting in, I wasn’t that surprised when Collins was on the couch watching a movie as always.

“Who died… He said simply as I ignored him walking upstairs.

“Taylor are you okay… He asked as I slowly walked upstairs.

“Taylorr…Collins exclaimed as I entered my room locking the door behind me as I walked slowly to my bed trying to sleep in my clothes with my bag still on me.

 

I blinked my eyes rapidly yawning, I’ve slept alot today and I thought maybe if I slept I was gonna forget about my problems at least for a little while it worked but the minute I blinked my eye lids they all came rushing back, Mason’s sickness detention Shawn’s idiotic behavior and most importantly Mason’s acting cold towards me.
I grabbed my phone without thinking twice putting a call to him since I needed to hear his voice and maybe try and figure out what I might have done wrong to make him change in a split second.
I dialed his number as I tapped my fingers on my gown letting it ring praying he would pick up since it was getting pretty late as at 9 pm.
It rang for a long time until I heard the receiver click, smiling immediately since I was gonna get to talk to him.

“Hello who’s this… Sasha voice came through.

“Hellooo… She repeated when I didn’t answer.

I’ll recognised that voice anywhere since its been replaying in my head ever since she showed up at forcados,were they dating behind my back?
What was Sasha doing at his place and why did she have access to his damn phone.

“Okay I’m gonna hang up now… She said slowly.

“Who’s that… Mason voice came through.

“Dunno check… She said as I listened with keen interest.

“Ugh never mind no-one important I’ll attend to it tomorrow… He said before the receiver clicked as the phone slipped from my grip.

” I’m not important… I thought wrapping the blanket around me.

“I’m an it… I thought slowly going back to bed.

“What are you doing to me mason Kendall… I thought as my heart bled while I tried my best not to cry.

 

The rumbling of my stomach woke me up that morning, I spent half of the day with mason yesterday at his house which meant I had nothing to it added to the fact I skipped lunch and dinner because well I was too confused,shocked and my heart was bleeding so eating was no on my agenda last night.

I shut my eyes tightly planning my day which was only to do one thing.

“Fix mason Kendall.

I have no idea what I did or what went wrong but I really hate this new mason, he’s really pissing me off when I’m done getting our relationship back to what it was then I’ll put him six feet under for saying I’m not important.

“Sounds like a plan… I thought forcing myself to smile as I jumped straight out of bed.

I seriously have no time for prank this morning so I only need to freshen up and then take breakfast after that I’ll head straight to school and fix whatever this is with mason I’m not even sure I’ll have time to wait for Collins to catch up.
For the first time in forever I spent less than half an hour in the shower, I grabbed the first gown in sight putting it on as I sprayed my perfume got my things ready before closing my room running downstairs.

“Wait are you dressed… Collins said walking slowly behind me.

“Yeah I need to make a quick breakfast have to get to school extra early today you can catch up right… I said trying to make scrambled eggs for myself.

“Yeah… He said slowly taking a sit.

“Tay… Are you okay.

“Yeah why…

“Because you’re extra jumpy, you didn’t wake us up and you’re making breakfast… He exclaimed as I placed it on a plate.

“I’m fine… I said stuffing food into my mouth moaning in delight.

“You sure… He said staring at me.

“Yeah I’m fine.

“And yesterday… He said as time figuratively stopped.

“umm I was tired that’s all… I lied.

“You sure tay

“Yeah I’m super sure… I said disposing of my plates using a napkin to clean my lips.

“I have to go now,don’t be late… I said walking away.

“Taylor… Mum called from behind.

“Why so early… She asked as I shrugged.

“Oh nothing I just wanna get to school a tad earlier today… I said fidgeting with my fingers.

“Alright well have a great day… Dad said lookingcomfused.

“Thanks dad bye mum… I said opening the door as I walked out walking to school faster than usual.

“What the hell is wrong with you’re acting crazier…. Than usual… My subconscious said as I scoffed.

“I’m not acting crazy… Am i… I thought shrugging as I walked to school

I entered the School’s premises,the bikes not in sight as I heaved a sigh of relief thankful that I’ll get to speak to him this minute he arrives, I only hope he’ll talk to me and at least tell me what I did that way I can find a way to fix it because quite frankly I’ve gotten used to him in barely a week and I can’t live like this without him it’s Torture!.

Deciding that I had little time to spare I walked to my locker,putting my books in I closer it lightly saying a silent prayer so nothing would go wrong today.

“Hey you… Jenny said smiling.

“Is it just me or you’re finding excuses to talk to me.

“Trust me it’s just you… She said as we both smiled.

“Is it just me or we have a project due tomorrow… She said as I gasped.

“Gosh I totally forgot.

“Well we need to work on it how about I come over.

“Nahh we can’t get any work then my bro… I said.

“Alright my place then… She said as I nodded.

“I hope I don’t run into you till then… She said as I smirked.

“I feel exactly the same…I answered as she scoffed walking away.

“The TIMS… I exclaimed running outsides seeing them getting off their bikes.

“It’s show time… I thought as they walked to their various lockers.

“Mason… I called out running after him.

“Oh mason… Sasha called flirting with him as I stared at her.

“Come on I need to show you something…She said pulling him away as he followed her not protesting one bit.

“What the… I thought feeling numb walking into the hallway.

“Hey you… Shawn said as I turned to look at him hissing loudly.

“Dumb jerk… I cursed walking away as he grabbed my waist pulling me towards the closet.

“Back to where we were yesterday huh… He said smirking as I tried to run.

“Not this time… He said placing his hands on the door.

“Mason is clearly busy with Sasha.

“Back to our kiss… He said leaning his slowly.

“You seriously stupid… I cursed slapping him hard across his face.

“That only makes me want it more… He growled pulling me closer.

“I’m so dead… I thought as he held my hands.
