Taylor’s Pov
I blinked my eyes rapidly as I yawned,waking up.
I stared at his room before looking down shifting my hair from my face as I stared at his sleepy face, I checked his temperature and thankfully it was pretty normal at least it was better than before, I checked the clock and by the looks of things school was almost over they should be in the second to the last period or something.
Why do I suddenly get the feeling like in forgotten something extremely important or maybe I should have done something but what!.

I tried to think of what it was but the more I tried the more I got even more confused, I moved slowly out of bed careful not to wake him up but like the clumsy Taylor I was I moved too quickly making him to wake up as he groaned huskily.

“Gosh is he human… I thought as his voice replayed in my head.

“Where are you going… He said in that same voice as I turned slowly.

“umm… Water downstairs.. I said chuckling nervously.

“OK I’m feeling a lot better now… He said stretching.

“You sure you still need rest though… I said staring at me.

“I’m fine Taylor come on… He said getting out of bed.

 

We walked downstairs as he Kept on yawning and stretching while I fiddled with my fingers feeling a bit odd like I really needed to do something.

“OK what’s wrong… He said behind me.

“Me…

“Yes… You.

“Oh nothing… I said going to my fingers.

“You’re doing it at again.

“Doing what again.

“That stuff you do with your fingers whenever you’re confused,hiding something.

“So which one is it… He added smirking as I walked to the kitchen.

“It’s nothing I’m fine.

“I’m really better now so spill.

“It’s actually nothing I just feel like I’m forgetting something.

“I get it now.

“Get what.

“You’re regretting skipping school because of me, I know you’re like that straight a student and now you’re leaving school because of me, I’m really sorry OK…

“Shut up would you…I said as he gasped.

“I don’t regret skipping school okay you’re more important than any classes I missed today and quite frankly I’ll do it all over again tomorrow if needed just for you… I said in one breath as he smiled.

“Thanks dearie… He said repeating that nickname as I smiled.

“Dearie… I asked still smiling.

“umm… Yeah… He said simply.

“Why dearie… I said drinking water so he wouldn’t see me smiling.

“Well umm… Why because umm… He tried to say as he started choking.

“Oh my God how can you choke on water… I said rushing towards him taking the glass away as he stepped choking slowly.

“Thanks… He said smiling.

“You still haven’t told me why… I said as he furrowed his brows.

“Umm well I don’t know for sure I just umm like the name… For you… He said rushing his hands through his hair.

“You’re doing it again…I said using his words against him.

“Doing what.

“That thing you do with your hair when you’re nervous… I whispered close to his ear and once again I was sure he shivered.

“I don’t go anything with my hair… He said running his hands again.

“Hmm… Okay if you say so… I said laying on the couch.

“So if you aren’t regretting skipping school what’s wrong.

“I really don’t know… I said shrugging.

“I wonder how detention would be today though… I added as my eyes widen.

“Holy fricking… We’re gonna miss detention… We chorused.

“We’re so dead… We added together once more as he ran his hands through his hair whilst I fiddled with my fingers.

“We have barely half an hour till school’s over and not only would we miss detention but then absolutely everyone’s gonna know we left and then we’re gonna be dead… I said breathing loudly.

“We have half an hour right.

“Less than… I said sighing.

“Well I’ll get dressed and then we can walk to school it’ll only take on ten minutes.

“Walk have you gone bonkers you’re still healing… I exclaimed.

“I’ll be fine Taylor… He said Lowly.

“But…

“shh… He said placing his hands over my lips.

“Because of you today I got some much better because of you I feel great so if you think I’m gonna let you get in big trouble you’re mistaken I’ll be just fine I promise… He said his hands still over my lips.

“Hmm…. Okay… I said nodding my head as he smirked before removing his hands.

“I’ll be right back.. He said before running up stairs.

 

It’s been a whole ten minutes since mason went upstairs and yet he was no where in sight we had less than 20 minute to return to school and I was getting extremely worried.
I walked slowly upstairs as I called out to him but still no response.

“Mason… Are you okay… I said creaking his door open.

“Mason… You… Fricking… I cursed out loud as I found him styling his hair.

“You mean we’re…late… For… School… Because… You… Needed… To… Style… Your… Hair… I exclaimed as he moved back slowly.

“Oh you’re so dead…I said launching an attack knowing where it’ll hurt the most.

“No… No… No.. Taylor… Please… He pleaded as I made sure to ruin his hair with my hands of course.

“Taylor my smooch… He said in a girly voice as I cackled.

“Taylor please… He pleaded as I chuckled loudly almost done.

“There now get your a$$ downstairs and don’t you even think of trying to fix it back up… I said warning him.

“But… Taylor… He says groaning stomping his feet.

“Stop acting like a big baby… I said smirking.

“But I’ll look terrible…

“Trust me even with that hair do… You’re still handsome as f**k… I’ll wait for you outside… I said smiling before closing the door running downstairs.

“Oh my 15 minutes… I muttered walking outside waiting for him.

 

“So what’s the plan… He says putting on a jacket.

“How many leather jacket Do you have.

“Alot…He said smirking.

“So at this rate and you’re still healing I’ll say it’ll take us about 20 minutes to get to school.

“But we only have 15.

“Exactly.

“Thank we run… He said scoffing.

“You can’t run you’re still healing.

“I told you I’ll be fine common let’s go… He said as started with simply jogs before adding a little speed as we giggled heading back to school.

 

Just like those cliche novels surprisingly the minute we arrived at school the bell was rung as student began trooping out while we walked back in smiling.
We walked straight to detention class silently praying not to run into any teacher or anyone at all because that would mean we would be late and then get into more trouble, thankfully I already told Collins to leave before me so looking for him was no problem.

“We might actually pull this off… Mason said as I giggled nodding my head.

“Seriously mason is the sex really that good… Timothy said as we turned slowly to look at him.

“You skipped school to be with her which means she must really be good in bed am I right… He says smirking as mason tightened his fists.

“Can I have her when you’re done just for a night… He added as mason rushed forward grabbing him by the collar.

“Mason put him down now… I exclaimed.

“The truth hurts right, I’m surprised but not too surprised I’ll give it one more week till poof she’s back to sulking over Shawn because guess what she loves Shawn man she always did always will.. He added chuckling as mason held him tighter.

“Mason please… I said raising my voice.

“You think I’m joking well ask her she still stares at him during lunch in class she loves him… He said smirking.

“Mason… I screamed as he finally let him down walking into detention class leaving me stunned behind.

“You’re an a$$ hole… I said pointing as Timothy before running after mason.

 

Mason seemed to be really angry,he kept walking straight to class even after I called his name severally it was like I didn’t exist and it was really pissing me off.

“Mason please wait… I said as he twisted the knob walking in.

“Mr Kendal miss harttway you’re both late.. The teacher says as mason shrugged.

“Oh God he’s gonna get in more trouble… I thought face Palming myself.

“You know now that I think if it I haven’t really seen you twice all day… She said as my eyes widen.

“So much for not getting attention… I thought as I stated glued to the sit.

“Umm MA they’re both late because they were helping a teacher out with her work You know how nice they are… Jenny said as I forced a smile.

“Is that true you two… She said as we nodded hoping she’ll buy it.

“In that case get sitted you know the rules I’ll be back once detention is over… She said before walking out.

Mason walked straight to another sit clearly looking furious as I took a sit close to Jenny sighing as I did.

“You totally owe me one… She said eating a Taco as I sighed.

“My life is so messed up… I thought taking a glance at mason who looked like he wanted to murder someone.

 

Detention was almost over and I was feeling really bad because mason Kept an angry facing all through detention even right now he still looked extremely angry.

“Okay I’m just gonna talk to him… I said out loud as Jenny smirked.

“Have fun he looks really angry…

“I know right… I said walking towards him.

“Mason… I said fidgeting with my fingers.

“Hey… He said really coldly.

“Mason are you okay.

“Peachy… He said taking a cold glance at me.

“I’m really sorry about Timothy I know he…

“You don’t know Taylor look you know nothing okay and you know what Timothy is right you love Shawn and that’s why we’re trying to make him fall for you so why should I be angry… He says as I stared at him confused.

“You know what starting now, no more outside feelings no more anything we’re just do the plan like we said and get it over with it just like we planned… He said running his hands through his hair.

“Mason are you okay.

“I’m fine Taylor… He said coldly.

“Mason why are you being so cold… I said feeling my heart bled.

“I’m not being cold, this is just how things should be from now on nothing more nothing less you got it… He said as I stared at him shocked.

“Great bye… He said as the door clicked open… Detention was over.

“See you when I see you then we need to talk strategy… He said getting up adjusting his jacket as he walked out.

“Okay what the hell just happened.

“I think I just lost mason… I said truthfully slumping into my chair feeling my heart break into pieces.
