‘Come here you scoundrel!!!’..I screamed..

‘Engard!!’..Molly replied and pointed her plastic-made sword..

We were both playing pretend pirates and when her sword landed on my chest I faked a death pose..

‘Ohhhh you’re too strong!!’..I screamed again and closed my eyes..

‘Ohhh Regan wake up mom is back’..she squealed and I opened my eyes…

She ran towards her mom and I dusted my jeans..

‘Hey Ree’..Sally said and I nodded..

‘How are you sis?,I see that you’re working extra’..i replied and she smiled..

‘Molly take these groceries to the kitchen will you and put everything in their place’..she said..

‘Okay mommy’..Molly replied and took the brown paper bag..

📱:Hey Callie’..Thomas said as i picked up the call..

📲:Hey Thomas’..i replied in a drawl..

📱:Well I’m at your place and i can’t find you,I thought you’d be home already for our lunch date’..he said..

sh*t!…

I totally forgot about the boring date dad set up for the both of us…

📱:Ohhh well I’m on my way’..i muttered and hung up..

‘Jeremy turn around and take me back home’..

‘But we’re almost at Regan’s place Madam’..he replied and i frowned…

‘Forget about that take me home now!!!’..

‘So tell me what’s really going on’..I said to Sally as we both sat opposite each other on the couch…

‘Hmmm like what?’..she replied gazing at her flip-flops nervously…

‘Don’t give me that i-don’t-know-what’s-going-on-look Sally,what’s going on?!!’..i inquired and she sighed…

‘You really do know me don’t you?’..

‘Yeah I do so spill the beans now’..I replied..

‘Okay Ree,Roco is getting released in a week time and I’m scared that he may come for Molly I don’t want her to be with that kind of man Regan that’s why I’m scared’..she said and this time it was my turn to sigh…

She’s right…

I know Roco too well…

When he comes out he’s surely going claim custody over Molly…

‘Don’t worry Sally I’m here for you aren’t I?? And by the way why are you so scared?!,Roco isn’t going to loose his chance of freedom over you and Molly?!!,He won’t even try to come close to you when I’m here okay???’..I reassured and she smiled..

‘You’re the best Rogan,what would I do without you?!!’..

Thomas stared at me for a while and i stared back without saying a word..

It’s like we’re both waiting for who would say the first word..

‘Ughhmm you look good’..he finally said breaking the awkward silence…

‘Yeah you too’..i replied sipping a bit of my ice tea..

‘So what did you do today??’..he asked.

‘Hmmm nothing much’..I murmured..

My mind isn’t even on him..

It’s only on Regan..

I miss him so much..
