“How far is this place to here?” Abu brought out his phone again and turned the screen to the driver of the bus he was seated inside.

He tried to phrased out the name displayed on the phone screen but he couldn’t pronounced it accurately but in his Arabian intonotion.

“Linul road” The driver corrected.
“We are just about some distance away” the driver added.

“Yeah I know. This journey shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes to reach the destination and we have to find a nearby location we’d park this bus and move out undetected” Abu phrased out.

“Probably not, 15 minutes is a way too longer. We could take some other road to make it 10 minutes” the driver looked at the screen and back to him, making a suggestion.

“No. We are not taking any road except the leads I have here. I already checked this roads, there are no chances of attacks and I have the CCTV in control” Abu quickly countered the driver. He turned the phone away from him and looked through the right mirror immediately the bus made its first u-turn. He caught a glimpse of a vehicle coming behind them and he quickly adjust himself to have a proper look behind them.

“Yeah. I’d be back in few minutes, I’d also try to figure out if there’s anything else we left behind again”

“Okay. I suppose we’ve all come to a conclusion and everyone should go get some rest now” Jakoby put in. He stand up after Steve and Jason stands too.

“Sure. Don’t you guys wanna stay over? There are strict restrictions out there” Derrick pointed out, referring to Jakoby and Jason who were already on their feet after Steve explained he was going to meet Inspector Kelvin.

“No. We have some other things to do and we’d trend carefully” Jakoby answered him.

“Okay guys !!” Steve announced and began to walk out before Jason and Jakoby followed suit few seconds later.

Aunty Rhoda’s husband looked at the direction of his wife again and back at the door of the hospital as Margaret entered after leaving the room some minutes ago.

He turned to take another look at Mr. Kruger who was on the hospital bed and made a faint sigh. He crossed his arm after taking a look at his wristwatch and turned back to face his dear wife.

“Darling, we’ve got to go. Its getting late already” He phrased. He waited till he caught Aunty Rhoda sober face just as she heaved a very deep audible breath. She hesitated for a moment but managed to stand up some seconds later.

She grabbed her hand bag and made a glance at Margaret before she stepped out of the open space to where Mr. Stephen was standing.

“Margaret, We’re so grateful for staying and standing by us despite the levity of your work. You’re one a million and I can’t thank you enough” Mr. Stephen phrased after taking a look at Margaret who was seated on the edge of the sofa Aunty Rhoda stood up.

Margaret smiled in return and nodded, she took a glance at Mr. Kruger and the series of drips on him before she turned back to the couple.

“Its okay Uncle. I’m likewise glad to be of help” She phrased and nodded again just as Mr. Stephen did. She watched the couple take another look at the sick man for few seconds in silence before they turned and was about to walk away when she called Aunty Rhoda.

“Huh… Please can I see you? I meant privately” Margaret asked her before they could get to the door.

Inside the small room were four separate closed laptops except the laptop Khora was working on. He was inside the room alone and had been working on the laptop for three hours.

He seemed to be working on a particular software called Xbox and on the laptop were four different minimized software. He was working on all but Xbox seemed to be the main software he had spent more time on.

He was dully busy inputting some commands on the software that he hadn’t noticed the door opening and Lord Nathaniel had entered but he turned back immediately he heard footsteps behind him.

“My lord” he called out when he sighted Lord Nathaniel.

“Khora, have you found out what happened?” Lord Nathaniel asked immediately he looked at him.

“Yes but he escaped the cops. I think the officers that went after him were not competent enough”

“Ruiz is a hench of a man, he’s smart. He could have prevented the attack on him today and escaped the cops easily if he wanted but I hundred percent think he was tricked. Valentine and his associates had us all placed in our positions” The drug lord argued.

He placed his arms round the edge of the Chair Khora was sitting on and leaned to see what was displaying on the laptop.

“Our former lodge was ransacked. The whole place was thrown into pieces. All the rooms and every con’s of the house, I was watching from the surveillance system before it was destroyed” Khora announced to him as he held the system mouse.

“What about Margot? You find any clue?” Lord Nathaniel asked him.

“Not yet, I can only make little effort on our system here. I need to go inspect for accuracy”

“Valentine must have keep her from us in anyway possible. He’s a hell out of a man” Lord Nathaniel added and made a faint sigh. He turned to his left hand side and dragged a chair closer, he sat on the chair and settled his left arm on the edge of the desk the laptops were placed.

He turned to the laptop and began to watch what Khora was doing onward without uttering another word.

An unintended Silence emerged immediately and it continued more than two minutes, Khora was busy with the laptop and Lord Nathaniel was staring at the screen, watching each process and commands Khora imputed.

He couldn’t fully deduce the content of the software or the necessities of the commands but he knew little about what he was staring at. Khora was trying to manipulate some surveillance footages through the aligned features of the software. There were different points of locations identified with a red dot light all over the screen and the part Khora was working on was mainly on two different particular points.

He watched on silently and studied the way Khora reload some processes, its was faster and the imputed commands went in a swift. He squinted for a moment and adjust his settled arms on the desk.

“Why are you on this particular points?” he suddenly broke the brief silence.

“Two hours before the time Lord Margot was last attacked, two of Ahlam Khalifa’s men were at this location in a BMW M3 vehicle. I recognized the men through the tattoo easily despite their disguise. One of them entered the water corporation factory very close to Panill road and came outside ten minutes later with a box while the second man scrutinized the whole environment in the BMW vehicle, I studied how he drove round the street for three consecutive times before he returned to pick up the second man at the water factory”

Khora answered and turned to the drug lord, there was no gap per say between them and he quickly turned back to the laptop. He continued, pointing to something on the screen.

“From this point here to here, its couldn’t have been possible for anyone to have had a successful attack like that without such person knowing about our plans. We were so strict with instructions and none of our men even had a Slight hint about the plans. This is the point we were attacked and here is the point Lord Vladimir and his men were attacked. The time frame of this attacks were slightly different but whoever could have countered our well plan must have had much information about the full details and the time of our movement.

“What are you insinuating Khora?”

“We have a Betrayal amongst us my lord. Someone gave us out to Ahlam” Khora explained. He tapped the space bar on the laptop and stand up, he turned the chair he sat on and shifted it a bit backwards, giving more distance between him and lord Nathaniel but he didn’t move the laptop on the desk.

“My lord, if you wouldn’t be cross with me I have things to say”

All the men in the bus began to come down one after the other immediately Abu ordered the bus driver to halt. He also stepped out from the bus and brought out the same phone he kept into his pocket some minutes ago.

He turned back to the bus and watched as all the men assembled together quickly. The place he had ordered the bus to stop was very dark, no street light was turned on and there was no light reflection at all even from the other side of the road where street lights were turned on wide and long.

He doubled tap the phone and waited for the driver and the rest of the men to assembled properly before speaking.

“We are about a kilometer to the destination. We’d move separately from here and surround the whole place. I and some of you would go into the compound to attack while the rest of you would surround the whole place” Abu was still giving the instructions when a peep vehicle light suddenly appeared from the other road. Its was the same vehicle he saw behind them when they left in the bus some minutes ago. He could have stopped the bus if not that he was able to quickly recognized the people in the car.

They were all startled at first but all watched silently as the car halted very close to them, the light of the car was turned off instantly and two men came down from the vehicle, both at the front seat.

Valentine didn’t wait for the back door to be opened before he opened the door himself and stepped down, Franklin who was sitting beside him also stepped out.

The whole men including Abu watched as they began to approach them.

“Do your job man. We are here as reinforcement for you all and I’ve called for Khalifa boys to join us. Just be sure of the information you gave us” Valentine announced, turning to Abu.

Steve checked his wristwatch again before he hurriedly entered the car. It was just 4 minutes to 9pm and he was sure gonna be late for Inspector Kevin’s call.

He entered the car and put the engine to life. The gate was opened already.
