I was at thando’s room that night . I took a deep breath and gently removed my shirt .

” Having affection for Skyler now huh ? ” Thando asked.

” What are you talking about ?”

” It’s weird you’re actually falling in love ”

” I can’t be in love ” I said and turned to look at thando.

” Why ? What makes you think so ?”

” She’s pretty , and a super model . Your governor’s daughter ” Thando said and chuckled.

” I don’t do love stuff and you know that . She might be pretty I can’t love her . I’m not ready to be emotional ” I said.

” Alright , I don’t trust her at all . Her family is crazy and I don’t like her that much ” Thando said.

” I understand but Skyler is really nice” I said.

” Cool. What are you gonna do about Lora ?”

” I don’t know , I’m getting sick of her attitude. Her jealousy will cost me a lot ” I said .

” You just need to be careful of her . She will do anything to make you see reasons she’s perfect for you ” Thando said and I nodded.

” Thanks ” I said.

I stretched myself on his bed and eventually slept off .

” Morning Skyler ” Selene greeted.

She was in the kitchen helping out with the chores .

” Morning. Can I help ?” She asked.

” No , you’re our guest and you should sit back and feel free ” Selene said and smiled.

Skyler smiled back and greeted Lora who refused to answer .

” Where’s lino ?” Skyler asked.

” Go straight , you’ll see a room at your left , he’s there ” Selene said.

” Thanks ”

” You’re welcome “. Selene replied and Skyler left .

” What was that for ?” Selene asked lorah .

” I don’t understand . I don’t like her and I would never pretend to like her” lorah said angrily .

” Jeez you really got a lot of work to do” Selene said arranging the plates on the cabinet .

” What is that supposed to mean ?”

” f**k you ” Selene replied.

” Can I come in ?” She asked bringing her head out of hiding .

” Sure ” I said and smiled at her .

” Good morning ” Skyler greeted .

” Morning sunshine , hope you slept well ?”

” Yeah . You paint ?” She asked and I dropped the paint brush .

” I guess ” I replied and sat down .

” Wow ” She said and glance at my paintings .

” I love painters ” She said .

” Thanks . You want me to paint you ?” I asked her and she giggles .

” Yeah ,I’d love to ”

” Only if you if will pose naked ” I told her .

” What !” She grinned.

I shrugged at her and she smiled looking at the floor.

” You’re joking right ?” She asked .

” I guess I’m not ” I said and winked at her .

” f**k, you’re a bad a$$ ” she said and I laugh .

She sighed and sat down .

” What plans do you have for them ? I mean your paintings ”

” I place them on market for sales but I needed a reliable supplier or marketer, so that I could make more cash ” I said .

” You’re talented ” She said and I smirked.

” I was thinking , how did you manage to cope with your girlfriend ?”

” Girlfriend ? I don’t know what you’re talking about ” I said .

” You don’t have a girlfriend ? Chill I guess her name’s lorah ”

” What ! Did she tell you that ?”

” She’s not your girlfriend ?” Skyler ask and smiled .

” It’s fine she’s beautiful but really insecure ” Skyler said and I scoffs .

” She’s not my girlfriend . We are just housemates and friends ” I said .

” Wow . Oh she confronted me last night saying I shouldn’t get too close to you that she’s your girlfriend and she wouldn’t wanna share you ” Skyler said .

” What ! Who does that ?”

” Someone who truly loves a man ” Skyler replied and smiled .

I kept quiet and frowned .

” Why don’t you give her a try ?” Skyler asked.

” Can I take you out on a date ?” I ask her .

She kept quiet staring at me for a while .

” What !”

” It’s not what you think , I’m not asking you out . I mean you’re the millionaire’s girlfriend and a super model, I don’t worth dating you , I’m just a broke guy ” I said and shrugged .

” Shut up I didn’t say that . I was shocked, I wasn’t expecting it cause you just jumped out of the topic ” Skyler said .

” Sorry about that ” I sighed and sat down .

” I’ll be glad to go out with you ” Skyler said and winked .

” Thanks ”

” You’re welcome . And one more thing , I saw you staring at me when I was bathing yesterday ” Skyler said .

She crossed her arms and glanced at me.

” What ” I whispered to myself .

” No it’s not what you think . I came to check on you , I didn’t mean to spie on you ” I said and smiled at her .

She nodded and smiled.

” Your body was nice though ” I said.

” Jeez you’re one bad a$$ boy . ” She said removing her glances from me .

” It’s not what you think , I was only being honest ” I said and she smiled half way .

” Thanks I just need to prepare , my parents may be worried now ” She said heading to the door .

” Call me when you’re ready to leave ” I said to her .

She nodded and walked out .

Few minutes later lorah walked in piercing her ugly looks at me .

” What did you tell Skyler last night ?” I asked walking towards her .

” I told her the truth that you’re my boyfriend ” lorah said .

” Lorah what is your problem ? We are not dating ”

” You’re funny . I don’t care, I said it loud and clear that if I can’t have you no one will . What have I done to offend you ?” Lorah asked looking into my eyes .

” Don’t ever force a man to love you . You might loose your worth ” I said .

Just then Skyler entered fully ready .

” Sorry to disturb the meeting . Lino I’m leaving , just take that it’s my card ” She said smiling at me .

” What about your car ?”

” My driver is almost here to pick me up . He’ll be back for my car . I’ll take my leave now . See you Lora ” Skyler said and walked out .

” So what was the card for ?” Lorah asked.

I looked at her with terror and walked out . I was really offended . I felt like moving out .

Skyler got home but was surprised by a family gathering . Bibi was also present . Her father stare at her in rage , with full confidence she sat down .

” Where are you coming from ?” Jonah asked .

Skyler kept quiet and looked around.

” Sky where are you coming from ? We were worried, what happened ? Justin was just leaving , he said he has been calling you and your number was switched off .” Jonah concluded .

” f**k ” She whispered .

” I took a ride down town and my car broke down . It was late and raining , there was no mechanic around and no cab to take me home . I called but it wasn’t going through . I just had to book a hotel close to where my car broke down ” Skyler said .

” We were worried , but thank God nothing happened .” Edna said and embraced her mother .

” It’s fine , I’m alright ” Skyler said standing up .

She left for her room with Bibi .

” Why didn’t you come over to my place ?” Bibi asked .

” And how come you booked a hotel and there was no cab ?” Bibi added .

” Jeez you lack communication manner . Well I didn’t book a hotel.” Skyler said .

” Then where did you sleep ?”

” You remember the guy I told you about ?” Skyler asked .

” The guy you met at prince Albert ?”

” Yeah . I slept there ” Skyler said.

” What ! You slept in a snob’s house . Sky you’re Justin’s girlfriend , why did you sleep in a man’s house ?”

” Chill. He doesn’t stay alone , there are other house mates too . I had fun , fun I have never had in ages , God I felt like a sixteen years old girl yesterday ” Skyler said removing her clothes .

” You’re in love with him ?”

” Shut up , you quickly judge things . Can’t I make friends ? ” Skyler asked .

” I was only being concerned ” Bibi said.

” Cool . I guess I’m going out with him this weekend ” Skyler said stepping into her bathroom .

” Sky you’re planning to dump Justin ?”

” I will never do such ” Skyler said .

Bibi sighed and picked her phone , she went outside and phoned Justin .

” Hi Justin ”

” How are you doing ?”

” I’m good . Skyler is back ” Bibi said looking around .

” Really ?”

” Yeah and she slept in a guy’s house last night. ” Bibi said .

” A guy ? What guy ?”

” Some snob that leaves at prince Albert , the south side of Western cape ” Bibi said .

” How could she ? A cheap whore ”

” It’s okay , just don’t tell her I told you. And one more thing, she’s going out on a date with this same guy this weekend ” Bibi said and ended the call .

She smiled and returned back to Skyler’s room.
