Justin showed up that evening after the conversation with Bibi. Bibi was still around , she was discussing with Skyler when Justin entered Skyler’s room slamming the door open with full force .

” Where’s that cheap whore ?” He asked walking towards Skyler.

Skyler who was confused stare at Justin in disbelief .

” What are you talking about ?”

” You lied about spending the night in a hotel and you slept in a boy’s house ” Justin thundered .

” Who told you that trash ?” Skyler asked.

” You think you can lie to me. I have eyes all over the city you cheap b***h ” Justin yelled.

” Justin calm down ” Bibi said trying to calm Justin down .

” Just get out my house , I don’t wanna talk to you ” Skyler said.

” Oh yeah , after sleeping in a man’s house . You’re ungrateful ” Justin yelled.

” Justin get out , I don’t wanna talk to you . You’re a bas***d, you can’t just come into my house and start raising your voice at me. Is something wrong with you ?” Skyler yelled back.

Justin gave Skyler a slap which made Skyler to shut up. She was really hurt , she turned to look at Justin and returned the slap.

” Get out ” She yelled.

” Skyler calm down ” Bibi said holding Skyler.

Edna rushed into the scenario , Justin was really tempered.

” What is happening ?” She asked.

” I think you should ask this spoilt daughter of yours. She’s a prostitute, she lied about sleeping In a hotel . Skyler slept in a snob’ s house at prince Albert ” Justin said.

” What ! Skyler is it true ?” Edna asked.

” Why don’t you ask this mouth breather who gave him the news ” Skyler said.

” Justin who told you ? You weren’t even aware Skyler slept in a hotel . So who told you ?” Edna asked.

Justin kept quiet looking at everyone .

” A friend phoned me. He told me he saw Skyler coming out of a man’s house this morning .” Justin said.

” Justin you don’t pick offense like that . You’ve been dating sky for the past three years and she will never lie to you .” Edna said.

” But how sure are you ?”

” Justin she’s my daughter and I gave birth to her . You know how to sort this issue . ” Edna said and left.

” Just get out and keep your apologies ” Skyler said sitting down on her bed.

” And I’ll be so dumb to apologise to you. You know you’re telling a lie , your sh*t will be out soon ” Justin said walking away.

” It’s okay ” Bibi said.

” Did you tell him ?” Skyler asked.

” What ! No way , you know I would never do that.”

” Justin doesn’t have a friend in cape Town . You were the only person who knew about lino . How I’m I so sure you didn’t tell him ” Skyler said.

” Sky I would never do that to you. I mean what will I achieve if I talk behind you , I don’t even have your boyfriend’s number ” Bibi defended.

” It’s fine . Just leave ”

” I should leave ?”

” Yeah. I wanna be alone . I need some few space ” Skyler said adjusting on her bed to take a nap.

Bibi sighed and left carrying her hand bag. Skyler got up to lock her door and returned back to sleep.

” I heard the news ” Selene said as she braid my hair.

” What news ?” I asked curious.

” That you’re going out on a date with Skyler ” Selene said as she chuckle.

” You already said it all , it’s a date and not a relationship hook up date .” I said.

” Ouch ” I screamed holding my hair.

” Sorry . I told you never to braid your hair ” She said.

I scoff and kept quiet.

” How on earth are you gonna afford her meal ? Lino you taking something way bigger than you ” Selene said and I smiled at her .

” I’m not broke and I’m not rich I get it. ” I said.

” It’s fine . Just make sure you date her ” She whispers and I laugh.

” You know I can’t .”

” Why ? Because she stays in a mansion and her father is the governor ? Or because she’s a model and her net worth is 103 times your oil money ? ” Selene asked and I smiled faintly.

” No ” I said softly.

” Oh I get it. Lino you need to give love a chance . It’s beautiful , you get to bang at your favourite time , you don’t have to bring different girls home just to make love with them you’re better than that ” Selene said.

I kept quiet and gently touched the already braided weave. I sighed and looked away.

” I’m through ” She said massaging the weaves with her hands.

” You’re hurting me . Your braid is just too painful and tight ” I said.

” I didn’t ask you to braid your hair bro. You’re only lazy to comb your hair ” She said standing up.

” f**k ” I whispered getting up too.

” Hey guys ” Lorah called walking in.

” You look good ” She said to me.

” Thanks ” I replied.

” He’s over prepared for a date with Skyler ” Selene said and winked at Lorah who turned to look at me in disbelief.

” Really ? So it’s true ?” Lorah asked.

I kept quiet and stare at her.

” Of course it’s true. Lorah lino is not your boyfriend and it will be nice if you let go ” Selene said.

She smiled faintly and rushed out.

” You shouldn’t have ” I said to Selene.

” What ! She’s insane ” Selene whispered.

” She’s in love ” I said walking into the apartment.

Selene followed too lamenting behind me. I went to my room to shower, thando knocked and I ushered him inside my room.

” Hey ” He said.

” You’re braiding again ?” He asked and I smiled.

” I guess. Combing is adding to my head ache ” I said.

” Yeah. I preferred it dreads ” Thando said.

” That’s you ” I said proceeding to the bathroom.

” So you are going out with Skyler ?” He asked at once.

What’s up with this Skyler stuff ??

” Yeah ”

” Wow.” He said deeply.

” Are you okay ?” I asked.

” Yeah , I’m just surprised.”

” Oh really ? I’m not planning to date her , it’s just a date.” I said and thando nodded.

” I’ll leave you now to bathe ” Thando said leaving for the door.

” Sure.” I said.

He sounds weird , really weird. I smirked and left for the bathroom.

That evening I was sitting opposite Skyler at dynasty , a fast food in montagu . She was really interesting and her smile was enchanting.

” Who could believe you braid hair ” she said.

” Once in a while. I was being too lazy to comb my own hair just decide to braid it , it will save me the stress.” I said.

” I must say you look good ” She said and I blushed.

” Wait , did you just blush ?” She asked staring into my eyes . I was forced to laugh.

” I don’t normally do that blush stuff I’m just… I don’t know.” I said and smiled broadly.

” Wow.” She said.

” Tell me about yourself.”

” What do you wanna know ?” I asked.

” Let’s start with your parents ” She said.

That’s the story I hate sharing . I hate to be emotional. I smiled and remained mute.

” I’m sorry I didn’t mean to ” She said.

” It’s fine . I don’t wanna talk about it” I said.

She smiled and nodded.

” Let’s talk about you and Justin ” I said.

” Goodness , what do you wanna know about Justin and I ?”

” I don’t know, anything.” I said.

” It’s so weird , I don’t even know where to begin.”

” How long have you been dating each other ?” I asked.

” Three years.”

” Good gracious , that’s a lot ” I said and smiled at her.

” Damn but it doesn’t go as expected. Our first year was fab but second year was insane. I met him at college when I was about graduating , he was so sweet but I started noticing that phrase that say love always and at the beginning of every relationship. We always fight over little things. Each time we go out on a date , he always wants me to wear his favourite dress . I always agree but the worst is making me eat his choice of meal.” She said and I chuckled.

” That’s quite funny.” I said.

” The sh*t I hate most is hardcore , god it always make me feel like a pornstar .” she said and I laughed again.

” I hate hardcore , it’s useless. I don’t even need to be aroused , as long as he is horny we must sex , I hate it ” Skyler said placing her palm on her head.

” Sorry about that. ”

” It’s so weird I’m being open to you about my sex life , I’ve never been open to some one before , except my best friend ” She said and I smiled into her eyes.

” I understand.” I said and sighed.

” Let’s talk about you . On our last discussion you stated you don’t have a girlfriend , why ?”

” It’s weird.” I said and winked.

” It’s fine you could say it.”

” I’m just horrible at dating.” I said and sighed.

” Really weird ” She and gigles.

We were silent for a while as we exchange glances. Her eyes were flowing in mine. I smiled and looked down at her lips.

” So why did you object the kiss at the devil’s game we played ?” I asked.

” Nothing, I just don’t want to.” She replied.

” Really, what if kiss you now ?” I asked and looked into her eyes.

” I’m going to smack you , like really hard” She said and I smiled.

” You know you won’t , because you know I can’t do it ”

” Are you flirting with me ?”

” I don’t flirt.” I said.

Silence drove by for a second.

” Chill I’m just joking.” I said and she smiled looking around.

Suddenly Justin walked in with anger.

” What are you doing out here with this animal ?” He asked staring down at me.

” Justin he’s my friend.” Skyler retorted.

” Oh really , or some cheap broke a$$ lame guy that you’ve been giving your cheap self.” Justin yelled.

” What !” Skyler cried.

” What the f**k is wrong with you ? You have millions doesn’t mean you should be rude.” I said standing up.

” b***h get yourself some manners.” I said pushing him aside with my shoulders and left.

” You’re gonna pay for that embarrassment , now get up let’s go.” Justin said holding Skyler’s hand.

” Get your d**k hand out of my hands you wayward prick.” Skyler said pushing Justin aside and walked out.

” Sky get back here now.” He ordered but Skyler ignored him.

” You’ll pay.” Justin said and walked out too .
