#Lucien’s POV

I watched her carefully and quietly as she stuffed her face with chocolate cookies and donuts. She was crying and eating and I let her. I told her everything including the biological parents part and she hadn’t stop crying and eating endlessly. That’s how she suppresses her pain sometimes

‘Okay, enough crying. You’re gonna make me cry too’

‘But my life is complicated and scattered’ she sobbed

‘And it can be fixed if you give it a chance’

‘Have the person been caught?’ She asked gulping down a full donut. I took everything from her sharply and dropped them at the edge of the bed. ‘My pain killer’ she cried. I sighed and crawled into the bed to sit beside her. She hugged me and cried on my shirt

‘The people who attacked your parents have been caught, it was your father’s business partner and cousin but the idiot that ruined our relationship have not been caught’ I said coolly stroking her hair

‘How did you cope?’ She asked calmly removing her face from my chest and wiping her cheeks with the back of her hands

‘Pardon?’

‘You said we dated for three months and few days yet we never did anything. Wasn’t it hard on you?’

‘Honestly I never thought of that’ I admitted truthfully sinking into the bed. ‘I was so focus on proving that I love you and not your body that no single thought of making love to you crossed my mind. It was like my subconscious knew I didn’t want to hurt you so it shunned out every desire that would get me in trouble’

‘Wow! I can see why I almost died when you left me’ she said chucklingly. ‘Finding out I was cheating must have really hurt you knowing you never planned on it’

‘It hurt like a bitchy mother. That’s one of the reason I overreacted. It was like I was trying so hard to please you that I sacrificed my own needs only to be betrayed’

‘But I didn’t cheat, right?’ She asked pleadingly. I folded my hands behind my head to support it and stared at the ceiling

‘No. In fact, legend has it that you’re still a virgin’ I said humorously,. She laughed and laid beside me. We stayed there in silence for minutes before she spoke up

‘Do you want to do it now?’

‘Do what?’ I asked drowsily

‘Have sex’ she replied nervously. ‘I think you deserve it. That’s what my instinct say to do’

I smiled and licked my dry lips

‘That would be nice but no, I don’t want to have sex with you, I wanna make love to you but not now’

‘Why?’ She asked confusedly playing with my hair

‘Because I want you to be in your right mind first. I don’t want to take advance of your condition and do what I’m not suppose to do. If I’m ever to do that, I want you to tell me to when you have your memories back so the full you will decide if she still wants to stay with me after what I did’

‘But it isn’t your fault. You had every right to have done what you did. You’re human, not stone’

‘And this human badly wants you now but still won’t. I gave my words to myself and I never go back on it’

‘I know I sound desperate but I want you to. I don’t know why my body and mind insist on it, it’s like a decision I made before or something, I can…..aaaaaaaah!’ She screamed. I sat up sharply and hover over her. ‘Aaaaaaaaah’

‘Stop forcing your memory to open’ I snapped rubbing her temples. ‘Now relax and take a deep breaths’ I crooned. She did I told her before opening her wet eyes. ‘it’s okay’

‘I have a feeling that from now on I’m gonna do a lot of stupid things’ she said tearily as I wiped the tear out of her eye

‘Stupid things like what?’

‘Like this’ she pulled my shirt making me stumble on her. She wasted no time in crashing her lips on mine. Heaven knows how much I wanted her badly but I gave my words to SK and Cynthia so I can’t break it. I redrew and slept beside her cuddling her like a pillow. She chuckled and relaxed in my arms

I carried Alice’s crying baby in my arms, rocking him gently. Since I got here, I was more of a mom to him than Alice because she was still weak and tired.

‘Come on baby, stop crying’ I begged. If I was Ammy what will I do to stop a crying child? Sing! Yes sing! ‘Black bird singing in the dead of night

Pray you take this broken wings and learn to fly

You’ve only be waiting for this moment to arrive…’ I sang the first thing I thought of and hell yea it worked

After putting him to bed, I went to their room and knocked gently

‘Come in’ Jonah said exhaustively. I opened the door and peeped in before walking in uncomfortably. Alice was naked on the bed with Jonah massaging her body gently while she moaned to torment him

‘Am I suppose to be here?’

‘Exactly!’ He exclaimed

‘Ignore him’ she said rolling her eyes. He smacked her a$$ and she laughed

‘Goodbye’ I said irritably

‘Hold on! how’s my baby? Sleeping?’

‘Yes. Soundly but he didn’t get to eat anything’

‘When he wakes up, I’ll feed him’ she said calmly

‘Okay this is uncomfortable to see’ I admitted looking at my feet

‘It’s not the first time you’ve seen me naked so cut it out’

‘How much longer do I have to endure this punishment again?’ Jonah asked shakily

‘One’

‘Really?’

‘Month’ she added smirkingly and he whimpered. ‘Now stop complaining and massage me properly. I suffered thru the nine months and struggled on my own to give birth to your son while you were riding another girl’s a$$ in a hotel so better do your job’

‘Are you still upset about the Jennifer thing? I’ve told you over and over again that Francis planned with her and got me drunk that night It wasn’t my fault’ he cried

‘Either way, you betrayed me. As for that Francis and Jennifer, I’ll deal with them when I’m better. Nobody can dare tamper with my marriage and leave with their lives. Now do your job’ she snapped. She really meant what she said. Alice is sweet but dangerous, just know that

‘Yes honey’ he murmured. I turned and left smiling. I need to check up on Ammy

Mia Iris Krieger walked into her living room miserably and slumped on her couch. The news she heard earlier really frightened her. It was announced that Cedric Bricks was alive and healthy, she knew Sydney was in a coma but they never told her Cedric survived the accident.

According to the report, he was in coma for years before he woke up two years ago and secretly hunted his enemies. Now the bad guy have been caught. It was only a matter of time before he comes looking for his daughter

‘I’m doomed!’ She cried

Cedric was a no nonsense man and he would surely ki*ll her. She thought of how much Idris hate her and how she doesn’t know the whereabout of Sardonyx and wept the more. She will surely die a miserable woman

The door bell rang and she stood up to get it. She trudged to the door and opened it without looking only to see the last person she never expected to see in a million years
