MY HEART DESIRE.

Episode 11.

Lucy had lost all hopes of ever coming out of the dungeon. She saw little of Sarah these days and the little badly cooked food she was always served did not help matters at all. She had tried to plead for her release telling her abductor that after her release she would fly out of the country and forget about Dan but it all fell on deaf ears as she was bent on destroying her.  She now had resigned her life for fate to take its course.

Raging like a storm, a fury so bad that it shook him to the core, from when he had followed his friend to the secret shrine Tunde had never experienced something like this. He started regretting the things he had done but now he was too deep to even think of regrets. In the chase of wealth desperately he had taken the wrong steps in life that would be so hard to rewrite.

Tunde had started loosing favour in his own state and its residents, his rivals were closing in on him so fast it scared him. He knew if he sat back and watched then he would loose everything he had worked so hard for.

He had the key but unfortunately the key was nowhere to be found ‘Lucy’. He glanced at the dark entrance of the shrine and he could see the the fierce fire glowing showing the fury of the angel of darkness. He had failed to honour his part of the bargain.

He mumbled some words to himself and he had to pinch himself to assure himself that he had not yet run mad. If at all he had to maintain his influence in society then he had to find his daughter.

Sarah had been restless ever since she received the call from the person she had planted around to fill her on every detail happening around town. What she had thought she buried many years ago had come to haunt her. “I would have killed her when i had the opportunity,” she thought aloud. “What boss,” her right hand man questioned with a raised eyebrow but she quickly composed herself and dismissed him with a wave of the hand. Or maybe it was karma that was out to hunt her.

She had not had time to check on her victim, now she had to deal with a case of hanging clues. She knew if she did not clear the hanging clues then she would come to regret her actions later.

She let out a wicked grin as she just got on what to do. She let a devilish smile as she scrolled through her contacts.

‘Hello,” answered the gruff voice on the other end. “Eliminate target,” she dropped the call minutes after giving instructions.

Dan had been roaming around town aimlessly trying so hard to get a clue on where Lucy had disappeared to but he ended up with total frustration. He had streamlined everything that was under her care under her absence, her businesses and work were all on the right track all thanks to his undying efforts. A smile crossed his face followed by a frown when he pictured the look on her face if she found out he had taken care of everything.

As he was roaming he suddenly took the road leading to the hospital to check on his supposed to be mother. He did not know how but he just found himself to that direction.

As he was driving to the hospital he noticed a black SUV following him at a distance and although the one following him was at a safe distance and driving slowly so as not to raise suspicions, he already figured that out. He however fixed his concentration on the road lest he knocked another person and who knows they may also claim to be his father. He chuckled at his foolish thought.

Lucy had tried to beg the man left to watch her to let her free on the promise of a handsome pat but it fell on deaf ears. She even thought that if deaf ears was to be a person then it would be him.

She was left with one option, it was tricky but it was the only option remaining before the b***h came with a plan to eliminate her. The man licked his lips lustily as she stared at Lucy. She had lost weight but she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen and the option of having her for her freedom was too good to stay loyal to his boss.

“An opportunity comes once,”  he muttered to himself as he advanced with lust filled eyes towards her. He was about to pounce on her and devour her but her soft voice stopped him. “Atleast untie my hands and legs for me to also enjoy,” she cooed softly.

The man stared at Lucy suspiciously but she smiled at him to put him at ease.

As soon as Dan stepped in the hospital, he felt that something was not right. His instincts warned him and without a second thought he rushed to ward 48. As soon as he pushed open the door he met the plump jovial nurse lying unconsciously on the floor. His eyes moved to the hospital bed and his eyes nearly popped out out of shock. A huge man was holding a pillow over his mother and he felt adrenaline rushing through his body, he rushed to the man boiling in anger.
