UJU is a simple and poor village girl who faces the frustration of having to bring money home to the family. With the help of her friend Ada, she gets to Lagos with the aim of earning for the family.

Things were not easy for her in Lagos like she expected and her chances of succeeding are slim. In the midst of her struggles, she falls in love. However, her friendship with her helper Ada is threatened.
