MY DAUGHTER EPISODE 4

I gave birth to my daughter, Ebunoluwa, my precious jewel, my pretty princess, I named her after my sister, the last born of the house because they have alot of the same facial features, nose, gap teeth and same smiles, most importantly she was God’s gift to me, I look at her and smile big because it took so much from me to birth her.

The day I was inside the cab going to face my judgement with father I made the decision to be strong for my little prince or princess, whatever may comes I’m ready to face it, Surprisingly when i got home I was expecting Thunder and brainstorm to fall on me, everything eventually went smoothly, yes father was angry, mother was trying to talk to him, to calm him down, he said alot of things as expected but with time his anger softened. Mother was able to calm him down, I was always on my knee begging him to forgive me, well he finally did, my education was on hold, my journey with pregnancy began, it wasn’t easy at all but I pulled through,

Father met with Chief Emeka, and discuss with him on the next step for his son and me, aah, chief Emeka is a good man, he will live long, I just wonder who his son Obinna take after, probably his mother, chief said his son must take responsibility for his action he scolded us both for doing hide and seek love without coming to the open, and what we ate in secret, when no one was watching has germinated and we couldn’t hide anymore, he said he was going to manage the situation to the best of his ability, Chief’s wife, Lolo was against us, she said it will never happen, over her dead mother will Obinna her son take responsibility of the pregnancy that Obinna already has who he wants to marry and nobody will stop or spoil that, my father told her he isn’t forcing their son to take responsibility or marry me, he just did the normal thing by letting them know because of Chief is a good person and he wouldn’t want to stain the trust he has in him, father said my education is on hold because of this and he can take care of me and my unborn child , that’s not a problem for him but he just did what he suppose to do, Lolo was raging and shouting like a mad wolf, she said we should stop forcing ourselves on her son that Obinna will not marry outside the tribe, or a low life, father was angry but he maintained his cool, Lolo did not even listen to Chief that was cautioning her, her voice was all over the place, the shame and Embarrassment was too much.

Me and father later left, I don’t want to stay at home and give birth because of amebos, gossipers that won’t allow my parents to pass peacefully on the road again

Chief rented house for me far from my place, after father complained to him, he was very supportive unlike his son, two bedrooms, well furnished, I moved into the apartment when i was in my five months gone, I moved in with my kid sister, Gift as father suggested, she will be helping me with errand, father enrolled her into a school around their, she was happy to be with me and never complains, Obinna visit ones in a while, father said I will go back to school after i have weaned my baby, mother came to assist when she was born and stayed for few months, I took over mother hood after mother left, my father was always sending things for us and Chief too was kind to my family,

everything was going on fine, my daughter Ebunoluwa was a priceless gift I can’t share with anybody, I was almost ready to return to school and face my studies, Obinna got married, I was hurt but I have already made up my mind not to have anything to do with him, his wife Adaobi doesn’t even know about us, a sound warning I received from both Obinna and Lolo, I kept to my lane, my daughter was almost 2years, she was a year and five months, Obinna came that day after like 7months of not seeing us I told him not to be coming because theirs no point, my parents are giving me all the support i need,

and he don’t really touched or play with Ebunoluwa, and he hardly carried her he will tell me sometimes whenever he comes “so this is how I will marry you and you will come and be laying girls like hen egg in my house just like your mother did, is your family cursed, why do you have so much girls in your house and you are not ashamed to give birth to another girl, thank God i did not stoop so low for your trick to trap me down, I’m married to educated, charming lady,that will give me a male child, not you that couldn’t finish school because of your stupidity and you still ended up with a girl after all your Stubbornness, I told you to get ride of it but you wanted to be Mother Teresa, I replied him not to talk about my family or daughter like a pieces of paper, that I appreciate her more than he can imagine and will give up anything for her.

After our normal quarrel he didn’t go home that night, I hard him lying ing to his wife that his busy with some paper work and can’t make it home, when he touched me that night I couldn’t resist him, we made out and he left the following morning, I started regretting why i even allowed him, my father is already making plans for me to return to school i don’t need anything to obstruct me this time, business hasn’t being so good for father, mother told me but father was determined to See Me return to school

Tosin is almost done with school and Seun is doing with hers, they visit sometimes.

my daughter is already 2years, she’s growing so fast, Obinna visited more often, anytime I planned not to let him touch me i will end up wanting him, I couldn’t resist him. Mother and father has already warned me not to allow such mistake again but I end up doing same thing, his wife was pregnant and she has traveled to the USA to give birth, he told me that night as i cuddled in his arm, listening to his heart beat, he doesn’t stay long he will leave early the following morning, I started enjoying him being around, I’m always looking forward to his next visit.

Today was different, I don’t even want him around again because I’m always weak in his arms, i just found out I’m pregnant again, oh no…father has already gotten me a form for school, he said i should bring Ebunoluwa home to them, and take my studies very serious this time , how do i tell father I have taking in again for Obinna, how stupid can i be eeeh?

I sworn before I won’t have anything to do with him again since he is a married man but here I am, how stupid can really be? This same guy that said a female child isn’t a child and i was laying it down like hen eggs just like my mother, those words hurt me then but now I’m pregnant for him again, I felt like beating myself up.
