PETROL OR QUEUEROL

PETROL OR QUEUEROL

I’m tired of a country like this,
Who denies her people some peace.

A rich country who suffers her people with great torment
Without an iota of regret.

We own the petroleum
But we don’t use to our satisfaction

Yesterday I queued for eight hours,
Hoping to get fuel
The queue seemed not to be moving,
We stood in anticipation as if it was a duel
We stood stagnant as a murky water
Night soon came
And all we heard is “We have closed”
Hopes left us and disappeared into the gutter.

When will sanity be?

When?

When our petrol was sold for us at a whopping amount of N400 per litre

When will sanity be?

When?

  1. What is the essence of Nigeria being called the Giant of Africa? This country has become something else. Only Almighty God can help us get things right.
