NIGHT OF SILENCE

Angry winds gathered siblings
from the four corners of the earth
trees paying obeisance
to the tossing power of the wind
eagles no longer free to fly
moon cowers behind the cloud
crickets chirping loudly in silence
Birds singing tragic songs
stars away at night
night suckers whynes in delight
feeding on poor sapiens
cloud of pestilence
at the rooftop full of smiles
it is a dreadful night of silence…
