MONEY OVER LOVE by Jones Kwesi Tagbor.

Money Over Love is a story about Makafui, an orphan left under the care of his aunty who turned him into her slave to do all the farm jobs as well as the home jobs. He was denied the opportunity to school since all his time was spent working on the farm.

After relocating to an abandoned uncomplicated building along the way to the farm, he heard a voice asking him to move away from the village and fight for his life elsewhere.

Luckily, he met Vero who was from a rich home. Makafui was employed as a house boy in Vero’s family house. Vero later on fell in love with makafui and seduced him to sleep with her which ended up in pregnancy. Precious, who happened to be Vero’s sister was equally interested in Makafui. The family of Vero were against their marriage because Makafui was poor.

Money over love is a story which seeks to inform and inspire the elderly and the youth concerning love relationship and money. Why money is not all that we need to make a happy home.
