MY DAUGHTER Episode 9
By Amah

With the help of my sisters, my only brother, Ola, went to do his master program abroad, my parents couldn’t stop singing our praise for taking good care of them and my brother, when father gather with his friends most of the things you will hear mostly will be ” My daughter did this or My daughters did that” same thing with mother, is always sweet to listen to them talk about us to their friends and relatives.

My sister Gift, the last born of the house got married Immediately after her Nysc, she first Seun, my third sister to get married, and equally me, Seun, who was engaged to one fine Yoruba man i met only ones was also into catering, she made a wedding cake for Gift and decorated the venue for her, the funny thing is that Gift was getting married to an Igbo guy called Uzo, they were young couple, and look so loving together, I was happy for them, everyone was happy for my kid sister, one thing i come to realize is that the the fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the first can become last, everyone works according to God’s timing not humans because God is the Creator of human race.

Chima also came to the wedding, he finally me my family because i have being talking about his amazing love for me to my family, they welcomed him with an open arms, he was happy.

talking about Chima sit tight let me give you gist *wink*

Me and Chima officially started dating, Mrs Eze, oh my loving Mrs Eze, God will continue to bless that woman for me,

she told Chima that i have gone through a whole lot, she saw my struggle and knew God was sending me to her for a reason, the first time she saw me she also saw my painful tears and she prayed to God to use her to wipe my tears away,

she told Chima never in anyway make me to remember my painful past but always make sure i have a whole lot of reasons to smile in the future, she said she lost her husband after two kids, Chima and her only daughter, Ngozi’, Mrs Eze said that her husband died of accident, she was in the same car when it happened, she was in a coma for weeks, when she finally awakened, she raised her hand to thank God for giving her another chance to be a blessing to people and to raise her two kids in a Godly way, “she survived the accident and knew God saved me for a reason,

She said to me,

Ngozi was just 7years when the father died and she single handedly trained them up in the way of the Lord,

Ngozi who is 24years took me like an elder sister,

through this my new family, I saw what real love was like, I saw forgiveness, I saw kindness, I saw joy, all this comes so natural to them, is as if they are a total different people on the earth entirely, this was God’s own kind of people, they weren’t perfect but they threw their imperfection into God’s hand and allowed him to fill them up with his loving grace, hahahaha, I can’t believe I’m preaching,

they have really impacted positively into my life, I was beginning to see this life in a different way,

I repented of my unforgiveness, I no longer want karma to visit any body from my past, rather i prayed for them, I thanked God for keeping me strong through out my trial, I thank God for always looking out for me, I asked the Lord to forgive me and help my walk with him, some days I will fall out but he should always help me stand strong no matter how many times i fall.

Let me tell you something, when people allow the devil to use them, they will unknowingly becomes his messenger and nothing good comes out of such,

but when you allow God he will envelope you in his love, no matter how many times you hurt, he will always be there keeping you strong to forge ahead,

I thank God everyday for Mrs Eze and his family, I didn’t want to be faraway from such people who exhibit God’s kind of love to everybody they meet,

yes is true, such love exist and I’m a living testimony

Chima propose and ofcause I shouted my YES and a resounding YES.

Chima is a God sent, his love for me was beyond my understanding, he said he didn’t want to know what my past was like, all he wants is to make my future into a box filled up with sweet memories, he was such a great cook, he told me about his big restaurant in USA, and said we may probably relocate to abroad ones we are married so that he can continue doing what he loves, he will hand his mother’s business to a reliable person to be running it while his gone

He met Victoria my daughter and they click up immediately, Chima adores her as much as Victoria adores him,

I pinched myself one-day to make sure i wasn’t dreaming, could this be real, does real men like Chima really exist, I prayed and told God I hope is not a dream, even if it happens to be please nobody should wake me up, this is too much to be true, do i really deserve such love, mercy and grace you are pouring on me, I love you Lord for loving me even when i couldn’t love myself,

at last it was doomed on me that is really real, everything happening recently to me is real, it wasn’t a dream, it is real.

I’m going to get married to a man sent from God to me,

hahahahaha! I’m actually laughing at last, hold on I will continue my gist later, I got wedding to plan.
