DETERMINED

we wont be cowed by their roar
though they deny us of the right to soar
let them keep the moon in their pouch
starve the sky of its stars

even if the dawn refuse to dawn
and hope remains unborn
our heart let them continue to burn
our ground we will stand

.


let the mountain fall to the sea
let them turn day into night
let them block the light at the end of the tunnel


.


we will not lose our voice
for its our only choice
from the temple of justice we are from
for justice we have pledged
to fight to our last breathe

we will continue to write
till they get it right
our pen is our sword
to keep mute we can’t afford
